The former S.H.I.E.L.D facility was in ruins. The first line of defence was obliterated while the rest of the staff fled in fear. Wanda showed no sign of stopping or remorse as she burned through anything sent towards her. Her goal was almost at hand; she could sense her son. Tearing open the elevator to the holding facility, Wanda paused, turning her head and looking frustrated. "You."
Captain America, Wolverine and Moon Knight appeared surrounding Wanda, no one making a move. "You're not our Wanda." Captain America pointed out right away.
"What gave it away?"
"How about the fact Wanda Maximoff was killed by Spider-Man seven months ago." Wolverine butted in. "You have a lot of guts showing up here, Outsider."
Wanda turned fully to the former heroes staring each one down. "I've disposed of countless heroes, a vase number of Avengers on my search for my boy. I do not think it will be any different. It'd be as easy as breaking a toothpick."
"You picked the wrong universe to mess with, lady." Moon Knight stated before holding his arms out, speaking differently. "He didn't mean anything by that."
Wanda began floating, eyeing the heroes down and hissing. "I will not let anyone else get in my boy's way."
"That won't be necessary, Wanda." The Superior Spider states dragging me in my webbing. Throwing me in front of her, The Spider smirked, arms crossed. "He's all yours."
Wanda kept her guard up, slowly approaching me. But instead, she walked over me, staring blankly at the Superior Spider. "What's the catch?"
"No catch. He's all yours. I don't want to set eyes on the scum who is beneath me any longer. This is what you came for, right? Take him." The Superior Spider claims smugly, looking at Wanda with no sense of fear in his eyes.
Wanda didn't respond, raising her hand and lifting me in the air. It seemed somehow there wasn't going to be any conflict between the group in the slightest, was this Y/N's plan all along? As Wanda readied to jump dimensions, The Superior Spider cleared his throat. "Sorry, I sort of lied. There is but one catch. You can be with your pitiful son. However, give up your powers to travel the Multi-Verse. I see it as a fair deal, no?"
"No," Wanda replies.
"I beg your pardon?" The Superior Spider replies, raising an eyebrow. "What use is the Multi-Verse if you have your boy?"
"What if he gets sick? What if this world isn't good enough for the two of us? In the vastness of the Multi-Verse, there is always the answer I need."
The Superior Spider let out a deflated sigh before shrugging his shoulders. "I tried doing this the easy way. You should be grateful I'm usually much less forgiving to other Outsiders."
Wolverine didn't even have to wait to attack Wanda at the drop of a pin. Pushing me to safety, Wanda quickly began avoiding Wolverine's attack using her magic to block his unrelenting strikes.
Forced back into a corner, Wanda pushed Wolverine back, distancing herself enough for Captain America to come in, throwing his shield. Catching it inches from her, she threw it aside. Ready to strike Cap, now defenceless, his shield came flying back, hitting Wanda and deflecting her magic. Sliding under another set of magic Captain America held his shield up as Moon Knight leapt off it, closing the gap and kicking Wanda in the face.
Taking out serval moon-shaped blades, he began swinging at her. None of the three heroes gave Wanda a moment to breathe or counterattack. On the other hand, the Superior Spider simply watched, inspecting the fight. Sitting next to me, he chuckled, shaking his head. "They don't get a lot of action these days. This won't take long. Remember not to kill her! I need her powers."
