After Story Part 3 - Evil Never Rests

The world around me was moving so fast that I couldn't keep up. My mind was in five different places, portals in the sky. People's lives at risk, and friends I had never dreamed of seeing again. While everyone else was in the middle of commanding a rescue operation, I was left in the past speechless, feeling like a fish out of water.

Doctor Strange hovered down to my level, clearing his throat. "The world isn't going to save itself, Mr Parker."

Blinking a few times through my mask, I looked at my new mentor, confused. "S-sorry sir, this is all just so much to take in."

Looking at the situation, Doctor Strange gave a faint nod. "Well, it is one of those days. We will need to act fast and close these portals. The more gateways to other dimensions, the more this world will fry. We can rely on these children to get everyone to safety, but I need your help to send these villains back home."

"Well, they are far from home, after all." I chuckle quickly, running to Doctor Strange's side. "Listen, Strange, I know this sounds crazy, but this can't be a coincidence. This is the world I was telling you about. The one, the Avengers, brought me to."

Doctor Strange gave me a strange look, almost like he didn't understand what I was talking about; eventually, he turned away, floating. "We don't have time for such throwbacks. Can I entrust you with bringing down some villains?"

"Of course! It's just... It's nothing but- My Spider-Sense, during that ambush by Hobgoblin, it didn't go off; ever since I arrived here, it's been funny."

"Funny? Well, you better wrap up your little comedy act and get on with it." He echoed as several of my rouge galleries appeared on the scene; yet again, I wasn't warned, my sense failing me. "Get the children to safety. I'll deal with those three.

"That's Lizard, Rhino and Electro... They're, you know what, you've got this."

The nefarious trio of Electro, Rhino, and the Lizard had joined forces, wreaking havoc upon the unsuspecting citizens. With a flick of his wrist, he conjured a mystic shield, prepared to face his adversaries head-on.

Crackling with electricity, Electro took to the skies, arcs of lightning dancing across his body. He unleashed a powerful blast, sending bolts of energy hurtling towards Doctor Strange. But the sorcerer deflected the attack, redirecting the lightning bolts back at their origin.

Rhino charged forward, his massive horn leading the way. The ground shook beneath his tremendous weight as he barreled towards Doctor Strange. Strange summoned ancient glyphs with a swift hand, causing the earth to rise and form a formidable barrier. Rhino collided with the mystical obstacle; his charge halted abruptly.

Meanwhile, the Lizard lunged from the shadows, his razor-sharp claws poised to strike. Doctor Strange anticipated the attack and vanished into thin air, leaving the Lizard slashing through nothing but air. Reappearing behind his scaly adversary, Strange encased the Lizard in glowing bands of magical energy, temporarily immobilising him.

Seizing the moment, Doctor Strange unleashed a barrage of spells, conjuring ethereal tendrils that ensnared Electro, binding his lightning-charged body. Electro writhed in agony as the magical energy disrupted his electrical powers, rendering him helpless.

But the battle was far from over. Undeterred by his previous setback, Rhino charged at Doctor Strange again. This time, the sorcerer called upon the power of the mystic realm, channelling energy into his hands. He thrust his palms forward, releasing a devastating surge of magic that engulfed Rhino in a blinding explosion. When the smoke cleared, Rhino lay unconscious, defeated.

With two of his foes incapacitated, Doctor Strange turned his attention to the Lizard. The monstrous creature roared, his reptilian instincts driving him to attack. But the sorcerer's mastery of the mystic arts proved too formidable. He conjured energy chains, binding the Lizard's limbs and restraining his ferocious strength. Clasping his hands together, the three villains were blasted back into the portals and sent home.
