* "Queen Evelyn thy day is of coming! You will never have what you are seeking for and Mabel will not fall. She is of my blood and my blood will prosper. You may have ended I, but you will never end h...
The King paced the floor in the early hours of the morning wondering only one thing. Where in the hell was his son was. For the past month or so the boy had picked up a habit of running off in the wee hours of the night. What he was doing no one knew but this behavior had to stop. For Christ's sake, he was a damn Prince and was acting like a commoner. Plus it had the queen up his arse about it and he hated it.
At this rate, the boy was going to end up dead and he nor the queen would know who had done it. King Roland did everything he could to keep his son safe... the queen on the other hand only care for herself. Still, as soon as the boy became of age it became hard to control him. First with the talking back, then refusing to marry, which was more of the king than the prince, but now this. The King was at a loss and didn't know what else to do.
"You there! Have any of the guards sent word back about Prince Theodore?"
"No Sire. All are still out looking for the young Prince." The man answered making Roland let out a long depressing sigh turning to the help. The woman's eyes quickly got bigger knowing he was about to start on her.
"You... you didn't see anything. I know you lied for him before Dorothy. Are you lying for him now?"
"No sir. I swear when I went to wake the young Master this morning he was gone. Prince Theodore had dressed himself and everything. Not, even the farmhands saw him take his horse...."
"My King there is no need to yell at the servants. Dorothy says she knows nothing, and I believe her." The Queen spoke making Roland narrow his eyes at her.
"Queen Evelyn, what in the bloody hell are you up to?"
"Nothing His Majesty... you know Theodore is a wild card, dear. Plus, he is a boy. I know you remember how that used to be at his age. Especially when all you had to do was sit up in this big castle. Our son will come home soon, and the sun is just starting to raise. Give him time then tell him how you feel." Queen Evelyn spoke.
"You are up to something and I know it! You are never this easy on the boy. Are you not the one that is always whining about the prince being out of control. Now you sit there telling I this is how young gentlemen should be. Whatever the hell that is supposed to mean. Just two suns ago you were yelling how Theodore needs to learn how to be King! Not adventurous! What of if he did not start to act as such I would have to appoint The Duke's son as my successor as if I don't have other sons." Roland said as Evelyn shook her head.
"THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN! THEODORE IS TO BE KING NOT YOUR BASTARDS!"
"Is that the only thing you can think of Evelyn? I am worried about my son and you are worried about him becoming the next king. It would help if I know what he was doing. I just need him to be okay... I am hoping that Josephine did what she promise thee." King Roland said.

Theodore smiled letting the wild hit in him the face. This was the only time he felt free. Free from his mother. Free from the duties or thoughts of becoming the next king. Nobody cared to ask him what did he want. Better yet no one even considered his feelings. The only thing Queen Evelyn thought about was him becoming the next king marrying who she thought was best. Conquering the world! He needed to be like his father King Roland of England feared by everyone, but it was for him to do in his own time. Theodore didn't understand why his mother could not see that.
