After Stacy went nuts, she ended up exhiled from the compound. I was using a crutch to help me get around, my arm in a sling to help protect the healing process of my shoulder.
I was in the storage room, checking supplies due to my absence. A knock got my attention. I turned around in my chair and saw Liam. "Your butt looks great in those sweats." He said with a smirk.
"You know, I used to hate your smirk." I said. He closed the door behind him and locked the door.
"What do you think of it now?" He asked his hands at my waist. He lifted me up onto the counter and stood between my legs.
"Makes me hot and bothered." I teased. He smiled and slid a hand to the back of my neck kissing me.

I waited patiently at the counter of the store. Liam was satisfying our woman one more time before he went on a big run.
The door opened and Liam walked out with Mel. "Are you going too?" She asked. She wasn't happy that Liam was going and she would be straight up pissed if I was leaving too.
"No baby, I'm staying here." I said.
"Good. I only have to be mad at one of you." She said. Liam kissed her cheek.
"I gotta finish getting ready to go. I love you." He said.
"I love you." She said.
"You'll see me off at the gate right?" He asked.
"Of course." She said and he smiled before walking out.

Alex looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "What?" I asked.
"So... are we still using condoms?" He asked.
"Alex." I said rolling my eyes.
"What? Last I checked we were out." He said with a chuckle. "We go through a fair size box within a week."
"That's because you two can't keep it in your pants." I said.
"Only because you can't keep your pants on." He said.
"Uh huh and who takes my pants off?" I asked.
"That's different." He said with a grin.
"Be careful and don't die." I said as Liam hugged me.
"I'll be fine and I'll be back." He said.
Rachel and Riley hugged him. "You two be good for mommy." He said. "Give daddy Al a hard time." I smiled, Liam gave me one last kiss before getting into the car.
That night, I was asleep in bed Alex asleep beside me, his warm body pressed against mine while we slept.
I heard something outside which caused me to wake up. It stopped then I heard it again. Alex woke up feeling me move. "Mel?" He asked. He heard it too. He got up and grabbed Rachel and Riley. He guided me to the closet and I protected my kids while he went to protect us. "If I'm not back in 10 minutes. Go to the safe room at the main house." He said. His hand slid from mine as he left. I closed the door.

I jabbed my knife into the skull of the zombie by the house. The spotlights were kicked on.
Upon my search, I killed 3 or 4 zombies. Cam, Kevin, Jack, the captain, and I were securing the wall. My arm was grabbed and I saw a zombie. A knife was jammed into its skull and I saw Melinda.
"I told you..." I started. She put her hands on her hips.
"I saved you from getting bit." She said.
"Thank you, you have a bad leg and a bad shoulder. Get somewhere safe." I said.
