Time

I woke up in the morning, Alex and Liam were already awake.  I sat up getting Alex's attention.  "Good morning."  Alex said.

"Good morning."  I said.

"Stale poptart?"  He asked putting his arm around me, tucking me against his side.  I opened the pack of poptarts and broke off a piece.  Liam walked over and sat on the otherside of me.

"Morning."  He said.

"Morning."  I said taking a bite.

After breakfast, I was sitting Liam's lap while Alex drove to the next town.  Liam slid his hand over my back before sliding his other hand over my thigh.
He brushed his thumb over my hip under my tshirt.

"You two are trouble."  I said.

"What did I do?"  Alex asked.

"Nothing.  She's just horny."  Liam said making me laugh.  "She knows what she wants."

"She just has to say it."  Alex said.

"Maybe later."  I said, Liam kissed my cheek.

We got to the next town, Liam let me out of the truck.  Alex and Liam followed me to the department store.  We cleared the front of the building and checked the inside before starting to gather supplies.

I saw Liam watching me from a distance while I gathered clothes for the kids.

I spotted Melinda in the women's section.  "Hm."  I said.  Liam looked.

"I'm sensing deja vu."  Liam said.

"Only thing is she's not a virgin."  I said.

"And she's not stripping."  He said making me laugh.

"Probably because we are watching her."  I said.  She caught us and she grabbed something and threw it at us.  She threw a football.  I caught it.  "Holy shit."  I said.

We were loading up the back of the truck.  "Mel?"  I turned and looked at Alex.  "You threw freaking spiraled a football."

"So?"  I asked.  Liam helped me stack the tubs.

"He's impressed.  That and it was the hottest thing I've ever seen in a while except for that ass in those jeans."  Liam said slapping me on the butt.  I smiled and rolled my eyes.

"This trip is just what you needed."  Alex said.  I climbed down from the back of the truck, Alex's hands at my waist as he helped me.  Liam jumped down pulling the back door closed.

I saw a herd of zombies coming down the road.  "We have company."  I said.

Alex helped me into the front of the truck and got in, Liam got into the driver's seat.  The truck wouldn't start.  "What the hell."  Liam said.

"Mel, get down."  Alex rolled up the window and Liam followed suit.  I climbed down onto the floor.  Alex climbed down behind me.  Liam sat on the floor after hitting the locks.

The truck rocked back and forth as the herd passed.  I heard glass break then I felt it hit my face.  Alex pulled me back against his chest, holding his hand over my mouth, stopping the scream from being heard.  "Melinda, you're safe.  You need to be quiet."  Alex said in my ear.

"Mels."  Liam said in a hushed voice.  I looked at him, a hand reached through the window and before Alex or Liam could stop it, I felt my hair being pulled.  I was pulled from Alex's hold.  Another hand grabbed the necklace with my rings.  Liam jumped up and Alex kept his hold on me.  Alex tried to get me free, Liam cut through my hair, my necklace broke and the zombie fell off the truck and I fell into Liam.
