It's been over a month and my period was successfully late. Rachel and Riley were playing in the sandbox. "Mommy, look!" Rachel said pointing at her sand castle.
"Oooh. It looks so cool." I said. "Good job."
"Mels." I looked up and saw Liam.
"Hey." I said.
"A supply run needs to be made. Do you want to go with me and Alex?" He asked.
"Do I still get to go if my period is late, but I don't know if I'm pregnant?" I asked.
"Probably not." He said.
"Why?" I asked.
"You'll have to check with Alex." He said.
That night, during dinner, I was sitting across from Alex. "Both of us don't have to go." Alex said.
"Carly goes all the time on runs and she's pregnant."
"Carly doesn't get into trouble." Liam said. "We're going further than last time. Maybe next time."
"Fine." I went into the bedroom and slammed the door.

"Fiesty much." I said.
"I think she's pregnant." Alex said.
"Yeah. That would explain a lot." I said.
Melinda came back in after taking a shower. She sat down on the couch. "How 'bout a compromise?" I suggested. She looked at me.
"Two days, three max, you return home with Alex or myself when the first truck is filled. You wait until we give a signal after we clear the buildings."
"Okay." She said. "I can handle that."

Morning came, I was sitting between Alex and Liam in the backseat of the suburban. "Carly," she turned around and looked at us. "Keep her out of trouble." Alex said.
"The only trouble she gets into is with you two." She said making me laugh.
"Seriously though." Alex said.
"Relax dad." She said.
We made it to our first stop and the guys got out. "So...?" Carly asked looking at me.
"I'm pregnant." I said. "Why else do you think they're being more overprotective than usual?" She smiled.
Liam waved the all clear. I got out with Carly and we walked toward the store. "So, are we due at the same time?"
"Close. Probably early May for me." I said.
"Awesome." She said.
We finished with the three stores in town. Liam walked over while I was eating some canned peaches. I looked up at him. "Sooo..." He said.
"What?" I asked. He sat down.
"Carly spilled the beans." He said.
"You guys knew it was possible. I'm two weeks late." I said.
"Okay. Just don't do anything crazy." He said.
"The craziest thing I've done is have sex with two guys." I said and he laughed.
"And like it." He said.
We were on the road again. "My God." Carly said leaning over Jack looking out the window.
"What?" I asked, Liam smirked as I leaned over him looking out the window.
"I haven't seen a mall in over a year." She said.
"Me either." I said. Liam pulled me into his lap. "Behave." I said.
"Make me." He said and I pulled his hat down over his face and climbed over to Alex's lap. I stuck my tongue out at Liam and he shook his head with his smirk I love.
