April and Mary were an interesting couple of girls. Alex and Liam were protective to say the least. This trip was mainly on foot since the dictator took all fuel resources for his own gain.
April and Mary became my best friends pretty fast.
When we stopped to make camp, I found myself looking at Alex and Liam. I sat back against the tree watching their muscles move. I enjoy the view of their perfect upper bodies.

A string of women left my room on the daily. It was like clockwork. I didn't have to change that when my new wife arrived. She would learn to accept it. I am being kind enough to give her safety, a home, and the best gift of all, me.

Watching her sleep, drove me insane. Liam sat beside me. "Doing this is wrong." I said.
"We have to do what the boss said." Liam said.
"I know. It's not like he doesn't have women in his room all the time." I said.
"I know." He said.
"Just think about it. What if we didn't deliver? Take off and keep her safe."
"He has his ways of finding things out." Liam said.
"I know." I said. I fixed the blanket over her and added more wood to the fire. "I just feel like she's being condemned and she didn't do anything to deserve it."

I woke up in the morning, I heard Alex and Liam outside. I stood up and pulled on a sweatshirt. I unzipped the tent and stepped outside.
"Good. You're up. Travel is going to be more complicated. There is some kind of illness going around. A biochemical weapon or something. Those that get infected get really sick. They attack other people. We have to keep you safe. We will be sleeping in shifts while you sleep. You'll be safe."
"Great. The world is going to hell and I haven't even met this ass who thinks I need to be his." I said.
"It'll be better when you get there." Liam said.
I could tell they didn't like this arrangement.
I took a bite of a granola bar and sat down on the bench.
"Finish up, we're on the move soon." Alex said.
I finished packing my stuff in a bag and slung my bag over my shoulder.
We started walking. Alex and Liam grabbed weapons where ever we found them.
