I wanna be yours
I haven't met one quite like you,
Your the type to make me smile on my darkest days,
I always enjoy myself when we are together.
On my walks in the woods I wonder if we'll ever hold hands like I hope we soon will.

I spent much of my life scared to grow older,
I was terrified of the day when I pack up my things in brown boxes and am on my way,
Scared to see the world on my own.
But recently things have changed.
I'm looking forward to college classes and crazy roommates.
I'm excited to live life on my own terms.

I have fallen under the bridge of feeling like I should always be doing something,
Something productive, something big,
But recently I've come to enjoy the quiet times.
I don't need to work towards a great big goal,
I can just enjoy my time here.
In an aeroplane over the sea
What a beautiful life I have been blessed with.
What amazing family and friends I have surrounding me.
What a lucky man I am to be able to listen to music under the trees.
What a creative life I live.
