TW: abuseFall back into place
You could call this a love letter of sorts,
Yet this one will remain unsent,
This one will never leave my mailbox,
I love you more than I love the sun that rises.
You hold me closer than anyone ever has.
I don't think anyones ever lifted me up quite like you do.
Your hug is like a warm blanket on a winter night.
When I'm with you things fall back into place.
I'd do anything for you, anything at all.Wondering
Sometimes it wasn't just what happened that hurt, but the moments in between.
The waiting on the edge of my bed,
Head resting on my knees,
Wondering.
Wondering if I'd be left alone tonight.
Wondering if there was more abuse to come.
Or if tonight it would just be me,
Because as much as I hoped it would be it often wasn't.
