Chapter 22: Past Obsessions (Dream XD's POV)

Yeaaa, sorry for not giving you guys much time to comment on what you wanted as the next POV! It's just I really wanted to start on this chapter, so here it is! Also, Thankyou for 108 views! I really didn't expect to get so much! Well, now you can start reading the chapter!

Dream XD watched over Dream, waiting for his next actions. Dream XD was a young god (3,000 years old) that had multiple similarities between him and Dream. XD wore a green cloak that was the same color as Dream's hoodie and always had the hood of the cloak on. He also wore a mask with "XD" etched into it that covered his whole face. He wore a black turtle neck underneath his cloak and had matching black fingerless gloves. He wore leggings and boots that were the same color as his turtle neck.  He had the same blonde hair as Dream and, unlike Dream, 2 large white, fluffy wings. On his cloak and boots there were small accents of gold and around his head were two golden looped haloes that overlapped each other to make an X. Dream XD observed Dream's attempts to find a young, blonde, blue-eyed boy.

It was obvious that Dream had taken too much of a liking to the boy named Tommy and had gotten distracted from his main goal. Usually, Dream XD reminded Dream when he got distracted that he still had to make the server a big happy family, but this time he decided he'd let Dream find the boy. This was because many, many years ago, just like Dream, Dream XD was on another server and had taken a liking to a boy named...

"Theseus, that is my name," A blonde boy around the age of 16 said.

"That is a nice name," A younger Dream XD responded.

"Thank you, what is your name?" Theseus asked politely.

"Oh, my name is Dream XD," He replied.

"I like your name," Theseus admitted, slightly embarrassed.

"Thanks! Now, kid, what are you doing all the way out here?" Dream XD asked.

"A-ah, I was exiled," He replied hesitantly.

"Oh my, I'm sorry!" Dream XD apologized quickly.

"Heh heh, it's no problem, really!" Theseus chuckled.

"If you want to talk about it, why did you get exiled?" Dream XD asked.

Dream XD knew it was a dumb question. He couldn't just expect someone to tell details of their life to a person they just met. He wouldn't have said anything if someone asked him a question like that.

"Well, I... I saved them from a beast named a minotaur and then they just... well, kicked me out," Theseus answered.

"Well that's dumb," Dream XD remarked bluntly, "You saved them! What's their problem?!"

"I know! They should be thanking me!" He agreed.

Dream XD had quickly taken a liking to the young boy, so he decided to help him.

"Hey, you look homeless," He pointed out bluntly, "Do you wanna come live with me?"

"Wow, so rude!" Theseus cried dramatically, faking a pout, "But yeah I'll come with you!"

"Well then, let's go!" Dream XD exclaimed.

XD led him to a beautiful plain with all types of flowers surrounding a large cottage. It was big enough for 5 people to live comfortably, so, naturally, there was no problem at all with just XD and Theseus living there together. The two became close friends and XD taught Theseus everything he knew. Eventually, XD admitted that he was a god to the boy, and he'd say Theseus took it very well. 

Later on, Dream XD realized he had become a bit obsessed with the boy. If the boy liked a certain animal, he would become jealous and slaughter the animal and make it look as if it was killed by another creature. If the boy liked a certain type of clothes, XD would try to make as many of those clothes as he could. If he liked a certain food, he would go to any extent to get or make more of that food. Whenever Dream XD feared that someone might hurt Theseus during the night, he would watch him sleep until Theseus woke up. Theseus somehow miraculously never found out of XD's obsession and everything was going well until one fateful day.
