Chapter 38: Time For Some Planning (Wilbur's POV)

Wilbur shifted his gaze from Quakity to the strange slime man that Quakity had called "Slime." 

"How are you alive?!" Quakity exclaimed, directing his question at Wilbur.

"Ugh, that isn't important right now!" Wilbur yelled through gritted teeth, "What matters is that we have no time and need to get going!"

"How about Ghostbur? If you're here, where is he?" Quakity questioned.

Everyone turned their heads to Wilbur. The man knew only too well that the ghost version of him was forever gone. That even if he himself died, the ghost wouldn't come back...

But he wasn't ready to admit that just yet.

"Doesn't matter right now," Wilbur replied.

Wilbur watched as Quakity turned his head towards Tubbo. Tubbo nodded and Quakity stopped questioning them on the Wilbur thing.

"Okay, why do you need to go then?" Quakity asked.

This time, it was Tubbo who answered.

"Dream kidnapped Tommy," The bee lover answered bluntly.

"Huh? I thought he was with Dream anyway," Quakity replied.

"That's what I thought too. Turns out Dream has been torturing him so Tommy ran to Tubbo and Ranboo and then Wilbur came out of nowhere so I called him and Phil over here and after that he got kidnapped. Oh yeah, then Phil went behind my back and called the government over because they, "deserved to know," and "we need more help if we're gonna get him back." Then you decide to pop up bringing a new friend," Techno answered monotonely.

Wilbur facepalmed. Techo never was too good at explaining things.

"Well, me and Quakity can help," the mystery person answered.

"What?! I never agreed to this!" Quakity yelped.

"The name's Slimecicle by the way, you can just call me Slime though," Slime introduced himself, ignoring Quakity.

"Hey Phil, this enough help to get the child?" Technoblade shot at Phil.

"Hmm, it's good enough, I guess..." Phil replied.

"In that case, we should get going," Wilbur suggested.

"Eh, I got enough food for all of us," Techno put in.

"I got the compass," Tubbo reminded them.

"I still never agreed to this!" Quakity fumed.

Yeah, he ended up joining them.

The seven entered Techno's cottage to figure out a short, but calculated plan beforehand.

"I vote we just waltz in and grab him," Wilbur suggested.

"Ugh, sometimes I forget how stupid you are," His elder brother said, rolling his eyes.

Wilbur ignored him and listened in to the rest of the conversation.

"We don't know how many enemies there are, we need to be as careful as possible," Quakity informed once he fully understood the situation. 

"You're right, this is going to have to be a stealth mission. We only fight if forced to. Understand?" Phil asked everyone in the room.

Everyone nodded before continuing the finer details of the plan.

"Everyone needs to wear the best armor they have, and for those who don't have armor," Wilbur said, eyeing Tubbo and Ranboo who most likely had nothing on them, "Techno can give them some."

"HEH??? I AM NOT GIVING ARMOR TO THE GOVERNMENT!!!" Techno yelled.

Wilbur rolled his eyes and continued.

"So this is the final plan. Ranboo will teleport him and Tubbo in to check the first area we find that Tommy could be in. Of course, they'll have to use an invisibility potion so no one sees them. They'll check if there are any traps or guards around. After that, they can teleport back and report anything they find. Based on that, we can make a plan to get around all obstacles. Remember we're trying to avoid conflict. We can't afford to lose too much time. After that, we can repeat until Ranboo and Tubbo check all areas. Then, we combine all the miny plans to avoid obstacles and get through whatever we need to get through and find Tommy. It's as simple as that," Wilbur announced.

Everyone nodded and then began to get ready. Techno gave Wilbur armor before, reluctantly of course, giving Tubbo, Ranboo, Quakity, and Slimcicle full netherite armor. Phil quickly packed up food while Quakity did the same with potions. After around 30 minutes, the group was completely ready to find Tommy. 

Quakity was covered because he had coincidently asked for a break beforehand. Tubbo had to send a message through his comms to appoint Fundy as the temporary president while he was gone. (Fundy tried his best to not take the offer, saying he didn't want to be pressured, but after some time, Tubbo had successfully convinced him to take his place for a bit.)

"Well, is everyone ready?" Phil asked.

Everyone nodded.

"Let's get going then!" Phil exclaimed as the group finally began their journey.

Sorry that the chapter is a bit boring! It's a bit more of a filler cuz I needed to introduce Slime and Quakity in.

btw, I'm gonna let you guys in on something. You know how Slimecycle and Qaukity came out of nowhere and stuff? Yea, that was improvised. I mostly added them in cuz I wanted some drama at the end of the last chapter. I am happy I thought of him when writing that chapter tho! He's one of my favorite characters ngl.
