(This is before Dream found out Tommy ran away)

It had been a few days and Ghostbur decided to visit Tommy. He usually visited Tommy almost every day, but Dream told Ghostbur to leave and never come back. Ghostbur took that as a warning not to come back for the rest of the week. That didn't matter though because he was going to visit Tommy right then. He was Tommy's dead brother after all... though he couldn't remember all of it. Ghostbur could only remember happy things in his past life.

He walked and walked and walked until he found where the logshire was supposed to be. Supposed to be. Where was the logshire? Where were Tommy and Dream? Ghostbur went around the blown up logshire calling out for Tommy.

"TOMMYYYY!!! Tommy, where are you?!"

He did this for a while before realizing that Tommy wasn't there. He checked around for any trace of him. Ghostbur stopped abruptly. He knew that Tommy was suicidal. Tommy had admitted himself. Horrible thoughts entered Ghostbur's mind but he pushed them out of his mind.

"Tommy would never die on me. He'd never!" Ghostbur thought to himself, internally panicking.

He looked around for a bit longer before seeing footsteps. They had to be Tommy's. At that moment, it all made sense. Tommy had run away. Hope bloomed in Ghostbur's chest. He could just use the footsteps to find Tommy! The problem was that they faded the more you followed them. After Ghostbur had walked beside them for some time, he realized that they only went a couple of feet before fading out entirely.

People at l'manburg wouldn't be able to help him, so he went to the only people he could think of at the time. He walked for a while and made sure he was completely sure he was going the right way. He reached a snowy biome, and because of that, he was only too sure he was going the right way. He trudged through the painfully numbing snow until reaching a small cozy looking cottage. He finally walked up to the door and knocked on it. He could hear a chair being pushed back and muffled voices. Only a few moments later, the door was opened by Philza.

Philza was Ghostbur's father when he was alive. He had blond hair, though not as pastel as Tommy's, and wore a green robe almost all the time. Covering the top of his shoulder length hair was a white and green striped bucket hat. He, like Tommy, had bright blue eyes, and also had a small, thin beard on his chin.

Philza, noticing Ghostbur's expression, immediately knew something was wrong.

"Ghostbur?! What happened?" Phil said with his voice coated in worry.

"It's Tommy, he's- he's gone," Ghostbur uttered.

"He's... dead?!" Phil shouted.

"Who's dead?!" Technoblade yelled in his monotone voice.

"Nobody's dead!" Ghostbur exclaimed in response.

"Ok, come in and then you'll explain," Phil said fatherly.

After Ghostbur, Philza, and Technoblade were seated by the fire, Ghostbur could finally explain what was going on.

"I think Tommy ran away," Ghostbur said seriously.

It was silent for a moment before Techno and Phil processed what Ghostbur had just said.

"Before you continue, how do you remember a memory like this?" Techno asked, "You can only remember happy things, right?"

"I think I'm just relieved that there's a chance that he's still alive. I guess that's what makes it a happy memory," Ghostbur replied.

"Wait, do you mean Tommy ran away from Dream?!" Phil shouted, directing the conversation back to the actual problem.

"Yes, I'm not sure why though..." Ghostbur admitted.

"Seeing how you can't remember anything sad, it makes sense that if Dream hurt Tommy's feelings in some way, you wouldn't remember," Technoblade pointed out.

"Do you think that destroying the Logshire would hurt his feelings?" Ghostbur asked.

"The logshire is destroyed?" Phil asked, shocked by this news.

"Oh, I didn't tell you? Sorry!" Ghosbur apologized cheerfully.

"Please take us there," Technoblade requested.

"Sure! I can do that!" Ghostbur exclaimed.

"Fine, but first, I want all of us to have jackets on!" Phil demanded.

"Okay Phil," Technoblade answered.

And the three of them put on jackets and armor and set off.

(No, Ghostbur does NOT put on armor because he's already dead.)
