(Once again, I do NOT ship Tommy and Drista, so there are no ships in this chapter)

Drista teleported into the the prison room on the eighth day with a "ZWAP!" Her eyes darted around the room before resting on Tommy. There was something about him. Drista examined him closely. He had the same blonde hair and the same green hoodie (that Drista gave him), but something was wrong... His eyes! His eyes no longer held its beautiful ocean blue that held all the wonders a child could have. Now, it was grey, bottomless and empty.

Drista walked closer to Tommy as the blonde instinctively flinched back. Drista stopped abruptly.

"Tommy?" She asked quietly.

"Hi Drista," Tommy answered, avoiding eye contact.

"Are you... ok?" Drista asked.

"Yeah, I'm good," Tommy replied.

Drista stayed quiet for a moment before teleporting into Tommy's cage. She almost missed how Tommy flinched again.

"Tommy... what did Dream do?" Drista asked tenderly, sitting down next to Tommy.

"Nothing," Tommy answered, again avoiding eye contact.

"Okay..." Drista replied.

Drista didn't know what to do. Dream had obviously done something, but Drista didn't want to force Tommy to say something he didn't want to say. She leaned closer to Tommy before hugging him. He, once again, flinched back before calming down.

"Drista, you don't have to hug me," He said.

"I know," Drista reponded.

After a few seconds, Tommy subconsciously leaned into the embrace. Drista hugged him a bit tighter as Tommy stayed close to what he thought was his only friend left.

"Thanks," Tommy mumbled quietly.

"You're welcome you clingy bastard!" She responded.

"HEH???" Tommy yelled, breaking away from the hug.

Drista noticed the shadow of a childish spark linger in his eyes.

"I'M NOT A BASTARD!!!" Tommy yelled.

"So you admit to being clingy then?" Drista asked with a mischievous grin.

Tommy flared up in embarrassment and didn't answer. After a few moments, Drista caught onto this and her mouth formed a small "o."

"You DO admit to being clingy?!" Drista exclaimed.

"Fuck off," Tommy mumbled.

"Okay, okay," Drista laughed, putting her arms up in defeat.

The two sat together and talked for a long time, Tommy giving short answers and Drista mentioning all types of things. Somehow it never got boring. They talked about all types of things, Kristen, the new masks, the dissapearences, even how shabby the cell area looked.

"Oh yeah, Tommy, I know how to teleport one person with me! I can only do it once though," Drista admitted.

Drista noticed how Tommy suddenly looked solemn.

"So... do you want to escape?" She asked Tommy.

"No," He responded firmly.

"What?" Drista asked quietly.

"I-... I deserve this, Drista. I want to stay," Tommy explained.

"No, no, no, Tommy, he's hurting you! You can't stay!" Drista exclaimed.

"I'm sorry Drista," Tommy apologized, "I just can't-"

Suddenly, Tommy was cut off by the sound of an elevator scraping down into place. What?! Drista saw Dream leaving the weird cottage place through a portal only an hour ago! He couldn't have come back already right? She didn't have enough time to respond before the elevator door opened, but instead of Drista's eye's locking with bright green ones, it locked with familiar red ones.

Who did Drista see? Put in the comments who you think she saw! Props to you if you got it right! AAAHHHH!!! Now that this story is almost done I feel like I'm losing a close friend! It's sadddddd
