Techno stood in utter shock at the sight he was seeing. Two beautiful wings were attached to Tommy's back.
"Uhh-" Techno began.
"Before you say anything-" Tommy interrupted before getting interrupted himself by a crash downstairs.
The three looked at eachother for only a moment more before racing downstairs. What Techno saw was a broken window with Dream standing next to it. The masked man's gaze fell upon someone behind Techno.
"Oh no Tommy, what did I say about showing your wings?"
Everyone's eyes shot toward Tommy with the exception of Wilbur and Techno. Techno protectively stepped in front of his youngest brother, shielding him away from Dream.
"Get out," Techno demanded.
Dream laughed.
"No," He answered simply.
"Get out of my house!" Techno growled.
He could hear Tommy flinch slightly at the sudden sound. Techno was about to lose it when another person spoke up.
"D- duckling?" Puffy asked quietly.
Dream seemed to have been caught off guard as he turned his head toward the familiar voice.
"Mo- Puffy? What are you doing here? This is none of your business," Dream replied coldly.
"Please stop this duckli-" Puffy began.
"I am not your duckling," Dream interrupted bluntly.
Techno looked at Puffy. She looked heartbroken.
"Hey! Don't talk to her like that! She's your mother!" Quakity suddenly yelled.
Dream stayed silent for a moment before answering, "She is no mother of mine."
"Well then you're no brother of mine!" Drista shouted back fiercely.
Everyone was shocked at this. So there they all stood, a fully armored, masked man on one side of the room, and a stunned group of people, except Drista of course, on the other. The silence seemed to have absorbed them into its void, never to be seen again... Well, that was until they heard a familiar "ZWAP!" and a voice broke the fragile silence.
"Dream?!" Tubbo yelled out.
"Ah president, what a pleasure it is to meet you!" Dream exclaimed, "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have Tommy in my grasp."
Another tense silence took place in that room.
"Stay away from him," Tubbo demanded.
The boy stepped in front of Tommy, meaning he was right next to his eldest brother, Technoblade.
"And if I don't?" Dream drawled.
"Then you better get ready for one heck of a fight," Quakity answered, stepping closer to Dream.
Dream seemed to examine all of them before answering again.
"Very well, but how about we take this outside?" Dream suggested, jesturing to the door.
Techno looked behind himself to Tommy, who was currently being guarded by Wilbur from behind. Tommy nodded, earning a nod from Techno. Techno looked back at Dream.
"Fine, it's your funeral," Technoblade sneered.
And so, Dream left the house first, followed soon after by the rest of the group. Soon everyone was next to Techno's cottage in the bitter cold darkness, waiting for the battle to begin.
