The group, now missing two of its members, waited patiently, no, scratch that, impatiently for Tubbo and Ranboo to return. And just like that, they did. The two looked solemn and like they were about to cry.

"He's- he's not there," Ranboo whimpered as silent tears streamed down Tubbo's face.

"No- no, you- you must be- you're not serious, right?" Wilbur asked, about to break down into tears himself.

"No we're- we're not!" Tubbo let out between tears.

Soon everyone except Techno and Quakity was crying. Both men couldn't express their feelings correctly enough to actually cry. Techno looked at Quakity and Quakity looked at him. He knew what Quakity was trying to tell him through his eyes. He was going in too.

"We're going in," Techno announced, gesturing toward Quakity.

Everyone stopped crying at once and looked toward the two. Sure, the duo of Tubbo and Technoblade was astounding, but the duo of Quakity and Techno? Impossible. (If u don't get what I mean, I'm gesturing to how Techno killed Quakity with a pickax brutally. I know it happens AFTER Tommy finds Techno during exile and whatnot but I REALLY wanted to put this part in)

Silence was the only thing anyone could hear. It was like there were in a crumbling building and these two enemies teaming up seemed to be the last straw as the building crashed over them, enveloping them in rough and jagged pieces of brick that once made a roof of silence above them.

"Not without me," Tubbo said firmly, tear tracks still stained on his face.

"And me," Ranboo uttered with slight burn marks left on his face.

"I'm going too," Phil joined in.

"Same here," Wilbur announced.

"Don't forget about me," Slimecicle added.

A newfound hope sparked in them all as they were all connected through one mission, find the traumatized child.

"Well then," Techno declared, "Let's go."

Techno splashed an invisibility potion on the people surrounding him. The group walked into the house confidently before searching for any evidence of Tommy's presence. The living room was relatively empty but it was still the largest of the rooms, so Slimecicle and Quakity searched there together. There were two bedrooms, Phil checked one while Wilbur checked the other. Tubbo and Ranboo checked the kitchen and Techno checked the bathroom. The group agreed to meet in the living room at nightfall, so that's what they did.

"I didn't find anything in the bathroom," Techno stated.

"Everything in the kitchen is empty, meaning there has to be some kind of trapdoor around here where there is food," Tubbo suggested.

"The living room isn't completely untouched," Slimecicle admitted.

"Recently something, or SOMEONE, touched or sat on the couch," Quakity finished for him.

"The main bedroom looks pretty much out of use, meaning Tubbo is right, there has to be some kind of secret entrance somewhere," Phil put in.

"It was the same in the smaller bedroom," Wilbur commented.

"Ok, let's keep looking, and we'll meet in the main bedroom in the morning," Techno announced.

So they searched all night, determined not to give up on Tommy. In the morning they met up again. It was around the same as last night until one moment.

"I checked the lamp it's untouched-" Slimecicle began.

He was cut off by the sudden noise of scraping. The group all looked toward the door.
