Another working week had come to an end and I must say that it was pretty much less busy and less hectic compared to the other weeks. It seemed to me that the A-lister himself had decided to take heed of my advice and go on a real vacation. Earlier this week, Ian had requested a month extension of his break.

While I was happy that I'm finally getting a breather from too much work, another part of me dreads the work that needs to be done when he comes back from his vacation. Most of his major projects had been postponed till the end of his break. Although, I was pretty sure he'll still accept to do short interviews and meet with prospective producers none of that was my concern. Right at the moment, I can't afford to be any late for my date with my girlfriends. It feels like forever since we hung out together. We've been so busy with our lives that we so much needed this break.

"Thank you, sir." I smiled at the taxi driver while getting out of the car.

I stood in front of the café, took a deep breath in and straightened my clothes. I honestly wonder why Krystal had chosen to meet at a coffee house when there were other restaurants around but then again I never know what goes on in that head of hers.

Just as I entered the café, my phone pinged with a message from Krystal and I looked up from my phone to see them sitting by the window just as she had mentioned in her text.

"Hey, girls." I greeted as soon as I joined them, pulling out an empty chair next to Krystal.

"Hi, sis," Krystal replied when Rosa smiled her response with a cute wave.

"I see that you girls have started already without me," I said, gesturing at the cup of coffee on the table. "You couldn't wait any longer."

"Oh, please." Rosa retorted, pulling her hair in a haphazard bun. "We ordered them just as you came in and besides can't you see that there are three cups here."

"Aww," I cooed, looking from her to the extra cup on the table since Krystal had already collected hers.

"You ordered for me." I smiled and took the last cup from the table. "How'd you know my preference?"

"C'mon girl, the universe knows you have a sweet tooth." She answered with a closed lip smile, looking from me to Krystal. "Right?"

"Yeah," Krystal mumbled, nodding her head and fiddling with the straw in her cup.

"So," she clapped her hand lightly and placed them on the table. "We made sure to order the sweetest item on their menu."

A gasp escaped me as I stared at both of them. Well, she wasn't entirely wrong but that doesn't mean I go about eating sweets all the time.

"So much for having a friend!" I muttered.

"Pardon?" Rosa blinked, smiling.

"Nothing," I replied with a smile of my own.

"Good," Krystal commented. "Could we now have a taste of the coffee?" She bounced in her seat, eyes filled with anticipation. "I've been waiting for too long."

I turned and looked at Rosa, she equally looked back at me and gave a shrug.

"She has been quite antsy over getting her hands on their coffee." She said.

I gave a nod and turned to see Krystal already drinking hers. She caught my eyes and smiled, gesturing for me to do the same.

Humph, what's with the rush?! I thought as I brought the plastic cup to my mouth.

"So..., how is it?" She smiled.

I looked at her a little bit speechless.

How do I describe the taste? It was pretty much refreshing and amazing. If I were to be in an advert, a light bulb would immediately go off in my head with plenty of sparkles. That's just how the taste was.
