We finally got outside to see Ian and Richard talking to a small group of people -it couldn't be that the press had found him. As we got closer, I found out that the person they were talking to seem rather familiar and most definitely not a member of the press.

Ian had a calm and polite smile on his face -the one that was reserved for formal occasions.

"Oh damn, she's here," Adrian mumbled under his breath. "How did she find him?"

"You know her?" I asked, staring at her as she laughed at something Richard had said whilst securing her cap on her head.

"That's Megan Mckenzie," Max answered, swiftly popping some candies into his mouth. "The newest sensation. She is an actress and also a singer."

"Huh?" I looked from him to the said lady. I recognise the name, it was a pretty popular name in the entertainment industry but putting that name and the face together was a bit of a hassle for me and she does looks different from her onscreen personality.

"Whoa!!" I awed, staring at her. "The power of makeovers. She looks so young and pretty small." I turned to Max for a split second. "She looks completely different from the person I usually see on the screens."

Max nodded, humming in agreement.

"She's pretty."

"Yeah, she is," Max replied.

"Is she?" Adrian said rhetorically, as we walked in the opposite direction where our car was parked.

I gave him a side look hoping he'd explain but he responded with a shrug.

"But, why is she here though?" I pulled the car door open and dropped my bag on one of the empty seats with Adrian doing the same.

"I wouldn't know," Adrian answered. "She could be an exclusive user of the gym facility."

"Okay." I gave a slow nod, turning to look at them still conversing only that they were now a group of three. The other two persons with her had left.

"But then again," Adrian continued. "It could be that she somehow found out that Ian would be here today. She has been trying to meet him for quite some time now."

"Haha, I see," I muttered.

"You know, she already landed the female lead role for her next project," Max said, climbing into the car. "And Ian is supposed to be her co-star for that movie."

"Yeah." I crossed my arms and leaned on the door. "But, he is still in talks with the director and producers."

I took a glance at Ian. He had his hands in his pocket as he made his way towards us together with Richard and Megan.

"I don't think he has made up his mind yet." I finished.

"And looks like the director is pretty specific," Adrian said, joining me as we waited for them to reach us. "He wants Ian for the role."

"He had to be that specific." I took a glance at him with a small smile. "That means Ian doesn't have to audition for the role if he eventually gives a response."

"Yeah." He mumbled, folding his hands on his chest as he leaned on the car. "Speaking of which, I don't think I remember the last time Ian ever auditioned for a role in a movie or whatever it is." He smiled, amicably.

"Really?" I turned, staring at him. "Even in his early days?"

"He started as an extra in a movie and he pretty much caught the attention of the director." He answered. "And since the times I've worked with him, I don't think I have seen him go for an audition."
