Ian's POV

The plane had finally touchdown in London and I could say that I was restless throughout the flight. Maybe, I was nostalgic to be back at the place where everything had started -the struggles, the pains and the fame. Either way, I couldn't wait to get off the plane.

"Ian, we'll leave through the private terminal because of the fans. The car's waiting." Adrian announced, checking his wristwatch.

Adrian was my manager and a close friend. He has been with me for a couple of years, walking through the thick and thin moments of my life as a celebrity. Besides Richard, he was another person I could trust and vouch for in this industry -although he can be annoying.

I nodded and put on my glasses before exiting the plane with other members of the production crew. I walked straight to the car the agency already prepared and we left the airport.

Getting out of the airport was quite a hassle because of fans who had come to welcome their favourite celebrities. Now, while I do appreciate their efforts in coming out en masse to receive and support us, I didn't like how their actions sometimes dictated our way of living and as much as I loved being the centre of attention, I sometimes can't deal with all of it -their madness, I mean. Right about now, all I wanted was to go home and hug my bed, I miss her.

I leaned my head on the window watching people and buildings go blur as we drove past them.

"Nothing's changed around here."

"Dude, what were you expecting?" Adrian asked as he worked on what I assumed was my schedule in his notebook.

"Three months is enough for some changes." I brushed my bangs to the side of my face. "By the way, what's my schedule for the week?" I asked.

He raised his head and looked at me. "Your schedule?" He arced his brow. "I never knew you were that obsessed with work."

I scoffed and continued to look out the window.

"You are free for the next three weeks." He replied nonchalantly at my lack of response.

"What's your plan for the break?"

"I have no idea yet." I sighed tiredly, pulling down the scarf on my neck. "I'll probably sleep in or tour the town. Until then." I answered and hung my headphone over my neck.

"Can you try calling Richard, the man isn't answering his calls." I said.

"He could probably be in a meeting or he's still sulking after all that trashing yesterday." He laughed. "If I were him, I wouldn't bother picking up your call not after what you did but I'll try calling."

"I see," I muttered, chuckling softly. "It's like you no longer love your job." I narrowed my eyes at him. "You want it to end, yeah?"

He grinned. "Nah, but I'd like to see you try though." He turned to look at me. "I wonder how you are going to cope with those crazy fans of yours. You are living at my mercy you know." He smiled, a smirk appearing on his face.

I shook my head at him. "You longer have respect for your employer, Adrian." I replied, offhandedly.

"I do because I need the pay but I'm only saying the obvious truth." He smiled.

"Shut up and continue with what you were doing." I retorted.

"You're giving up already." He laughed.

I made a face and continued with my previous task.

"Richard isn't answering his calls but I left him a message." He said.
