"And I never said, I wasn't your fan." I finished, quietly.

He stared at me and dissolved into laughter, his voice reverberating through the room.

Oh my God!! What a scene. This should last forever.

I stared at him confused as to why he would laugh.

"It's just so cute and funny, watching you try to justify yourself." He smiled.

Aww, he called me cute because I made him laugh. I should do that more often.

I puffed my cheek with air to prevent myself from smiling and exhaled. "Is it true?"

"Yes," he answered. "The speculations are somewhat true. They did approach me but I'm yet to give them an answer and they're willing to wait for that answer, desperately hoping it will be in the positive." He said, I smiled. "I think the female lead role has been agreed on."

"Mhm." I nodded. "Yeah, I saw it but I've forgotten her name."

He brought his leg up in the chair, folded it and placed a hand on his knee. "I'm still contemplating it." He pressed his lips together and glanced at me. "I don't know if I should go for it or I should turn it down. It's sort of different from what I normally do and TV series aren't my thing. You know, once started don't just end, if you get me."

I smiled, nodding my head. "Yes, it goes on and on but not in all cases." I folded my arms and looked at him. "I don't think it's any different from what you've been doing. You've played cameo roles and made special appearances in many drama series and movies, right?"

He tilt his head and bit his lower lip in thought. "Right." He answered after a while." So, I guess a little change won't hurt."

"Mhmm." I shrugged.

He turned and tilted his head in another direction. "What do you think? You think I should go for it?"

Uh, what is this?

He's asking for your opinion. My inner voice remarked. And you should answer wisely.

"Hmm..personally," I raised a hand to my chest. "I'll like to see your superb acting skills and how you'll do since it will be the first time you'll be taking a lead role in a TV series that's if you take it and from the fans perceptive, I think they'll be thrilled to see you and they'll love it," I stated. "But then again, it all boils down to you."

I inhaled, taking a glance at him. "If you think you'll be happy or find happiness doing it, then you should otherwise... You can decline."

He gave a slight nod and smiled but said nothing.

I turned and looked away at his silence, suddenly finding the papers on the table interesting to look at.

Awkward.

Did I say too much and said something wrong?

"Your schedule for next week is pretty tight and hectic," I said, trying to break the awkward silence. "Do you want to take a look at it?" I raised the tab in his direction.

He shook his head, waving his hand. "No, I'd rather you tell me when the time is right."

"Okay." I nodded and placed the tab back in its place.

His phone beeped and the screen came on, indicating a notification. He looked at the phone and picked it up, smiling as he began to tap away on the phone.

Here, we go again.

"You're always on your phone," I muttered.

He looked at me from his phone, dropping the phone on the table. "Is that so?" He fixed me with his gaze.
