An hour later, I was seated next to Richard under a canopy provided for Ian, with Adrian lost somewhere on the grounds making a phone call. The film site was rather busy and crowded but I cared not as I zeroed attention on Ian, watching him in admiration as he interacted amicably with his co-stars and the director.

At the moment, he was standing next to the assistant director with his script in his hands, going over his lines with his make-up artists and stylist all over him to make sure that he was extra swoon-worthy for the camera. At some point, Adrian had materialised to take his script and the overcoat he wore.

I must confess that right now, even though he was smiling and talking with Megan all set for their shoot, he looked unapproachable. He was so another level that I found it hard to believe that this was the same person I had lunch with, talk less of him being my employer.

I shifted my attention from the actors on the street to Adrian trudging way towards us. He looked less energetic than when he left us.

"Welcome." I pulled out an empty chair for him to sit on and took Ian's overcoat and script from him.

"Thank you." He sank into the chair without further ado, folding both his arms behind his head.

"I'm guessing this is the final shoot for today, yeah?" Richard suddenly asked, placing his phone in his pocket.

"It's his last shoot for the week," I answered, turning to Adrian for confirmation.

He exhaled, nodding in confirmation. "He wouldn't be having any shootings here till next week."

The crackling sound of the director's microphone caught our attention and at his command, every neutral body left the stage leaving behind the actors and the cameras got rolling.

It was an outdoor shoot set in a park by a magnificent fountain. The scene was set to be romantic hence the location. According to the script, the protagonists are on a date and are expected to act all lovey-dovey since they've been apart for a long while.

Looking at both actors, I couldn't help but marvel at their level of experience, particularly Ian. They had an amazing onscreen and might I add, offscreen chemistry. That was something every viewer looked forward to and now watching them right at this moment, I couldn't help but wish that I was the main character of the story. Better still the main actress.

Boy, he is good. Inner Kiara squealed. What?! They do look like an actual couple.

And if I didn't know any better, I'd say they were dating.

Right? She answered.

"Whoa, they're so sweet." Someone squealed, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Hah, I'm falling in love."

I looked to see one of the makeup artists grinning from ear to ear, her eyes fixed on the stage.

"Yeah." Lisa, who happened to be his stylist replied, hiking her bag up her shoulder. "They look so good together."

"OMG!! This scene is beautiful." The first girl continued squealing. "It's so mature and not too cheesy. I wish that was me with Ian."

I returned my gaze to the couple who were now playing hide and seek by the fountain. Ian was so into his character, smiling like never before, his dimples out on full display. He was charming and at the same time stunning.

Yeah, girl. Inner Kiara sighed. Me too.

"Of course, this is Ian working his magic." A guy interjected. "What do you expect?"

"He's so good," Lisa commented. "And I'm so happy working with him."

"His girlfriend is sure lucky to have him." She added.
