It was the next morning and (Y/n) woke up in Asuka's bed. Asuka was still sleeping on top of him and he smiled at the sight.

(Y/n): Damn... now I don't want to move.

Asuka: Good then don't, because I plan on keeping you to myself a little bit longer~

Asuka looks up at (Y/n) and moves up a bit more and she rests her head on his chest.

Asuka: What even happened up there?

(Y/n): Nothing too serious, just the guy who made our EVAs wanted to see them again.

Asuka: That's weird cause I thought A.B.X made them?

(Y/n): Well they did but remember all of our EVAs are technically angels. It's just that NERV and A.B.X modified their bodies to fight for them.

Asuka: Oh yeah your right, 'cause didn't you say that 00,01, and 02 all came from Lilith?

(Y/n): Yup, Ash and I just met the angel that 09 and 10 came from. The 4th seed of life. Cain.

Asuka: Cain huh, like the name of Adam and Eve's son?

(Y/n): Yeah it's kind of funny how all of this biblical stuff is mentioned.

Asuka: So...we won't have to worry about him coming after us right?

(Y/n): Nah, we don't. It turns out the guy is pretty chill. He just loves all of his creations and just wants to see them grow.

Asuka: *giggles* You make him sound like god.

(Y/n): I mean to his creations, he is.

Asuka: True. Think you'll see him again?

(Y/n): Don't know, but I feel we will in the possible future.  Anyway enough about me being gone, what's new with you?

Asuka: Nothing much really, I was just pretty mopey without you around, I got to a really dark place a couple of times but when I heard you came back...I felt...so relieved. Cause (Y/n) I thought I lost you...

Asuka buries her face into (Y/n)'s chest and lets out a few tears, (Y/n) responds by wrapping his arm around her.

(Y/n): It's all good Asuka, I'm not going anywhere, hell even when we're done with all of this fighting, I'll never leave your side.

Asuka: Promise?

(Y/n): Promise.

The two smiled as they soon went on to kiss.

-Ritsuko's Apartment-

Ash is seen still sleeping with the door cracked wide enough for Robin to come walking in to hop on the bed and onto his face to wake him up. The feline stretched out before repeatedly smacking the teen's face.

Ash: *half-asleep* Korrin I swear to god if those damn cats are on me again I'm gonna-

Ash opens one of his eyes to see Robin staring at him.
