EVA-09 shoots up into the sky, trying to get up to orbit or at least close enough to shoot at the angel from a shorter distance. However, there were three obstacles to that plan. First, EVA-09's species don't typically fly that high. Second, even if EVA-09 makes it a good enough distance, the weapons that could hit the angel would be (Y/n)'s Supers. Third, EVA-09 is currently flying through the angel's psionic beam that's penetrating (Y/n)'s brain at the very moment. It is not just great physical pain to the guardian but also mental pain, as (Y/n) is reliving his most painful memory when the Hive set foot on Xana.
(Y/n) was in the field, fighting for his planet as he fended off the hive's first wave using every explosive in his arsenal, as he waited for backup.
His trip mines went off as a thrall pack was sent to tear him apart. With the thrall pack dismantled, (Y/n) loads his rifle, the "Home Again"

(Y/n) starts firing at the troops of acolytes and the knights as they try to close in on him. His bullets pierced through their bodies, wiping out all of the acolytes, but when it came to the knights, they put up their wall of darkness that blocked all damage but left them immobile.
(Y/n) switches tactics as he stops firing and jumps over the knights, as he is in midair, he throws his throwing knives at them, aiming for their heads, throwing a total of six knives. Two hit their marks and were lodged deep enough into their skulls, causing the knights to fall right were they stood. The four remaining knights stopped their walls and drew their swords.
The first victim to step forward raised its sword high, (Y/n) slid under it, and pulled the trigger on his rifle, sending a barrage of bullets into the knight's lower region, causing the krill to bleed out and fall to its knees.
While still low to the ground, the other knights tried to slash at (Y/n). The first sword was swung and missed, but the other nearly nicked his right shoulder. To retaliate, (Y/n) switched to his shotgun, The "Hand in Hand".
