"So.. you don't even know that you are the one that's going to be assigned to all of this?" Wisconsin asked before hitting a target on the billiard pool, he is playing against Sylvester. I nodded before gulping down the wine on my glass, I leaned my back on the sofa. I'm on Wisconsin's bar but it's late in the evening and there are no more guests left. "Sa lahat nang namanahan nang limpak limpak na pera ikaw ang parang pinagsakluban ng langit at lupa.. what's wrong?" Yani was the next one to ask about my messed up situation. "You all don't know what kind of family I have.. kumbaga sa Isang kilong sardines they are after the bait while I'm uninterested. They will literally kill to have the one that my grandfather gave me. Hindi niyo ba nakikita gaano karaming body guard ang meron siya. He knows himself how dangerous it is for him to even breathe next to them." I stood up and placed my hand on my hips and started breathing in and out.

Claudia went to me with all smiles and rubbed my back "Everything will be alright.. just calm down. By the way there's some strawberry shortcake on the fridge tell me if you want some." She patted my back before coming into the bar area "Okay.. a slice would be nice." saka ako tumango. Habang pinapanood ko sila Wisconsin at Sylvester maglaro saka naman dumating ang panira ng araw ko. Hinalikan ako nang mariin ni Wayne bago siya lumapit Kila Wisconsin.

"Ano ba 'yan!" I exclaimed.
"Pare, badtrip na 'yang si Claire 'wag mo nang inisin lalo." Wisconsin pointed at me and chuckled, I frowned at Wayne the moment he turned around "Anong binubusangot nang babaeng kamote na 'yan." Dagdag pa nito, Claudia pushed him away to give me the slice of strawberry shortcake "Hayaan mo na ang epal na 'yan.. enjoy Claire." She insisted and gave me the plate with a slice of cake, I smiled and accepted the plate. "Tara.. usap tayo." Wayne grabbed me by the hand and I hurriedly placed the plate on the table.

He continued to grab me along with him inside of one of the love rooms, you know.. kung saan nagla-loving-loving ang mga strangers. He opened the door and pinned me the moment he closed it, he placed his hand on my back and pulled me in closer enough that I can smell his minty breath. I can also smell his aftershave scent, even if I despise Wayne I can't control myself but be weak whenever he's around. "Ano bang nangyari?" He asked, I looked up at his brown almond eyes. His gazes like they're taking my entire energy away, I pecked his lips a kiss. A moment of silence happened before I can no longer process what happened between us.

"Good morning grandma.." I walked downstairs gently with my sored up body "Oh hello darling, have some breakfast before we go shopping. I heard from the maids that the son of the Jacoby sent you home because you were too tired. I know that boy.. such a handsome man. Alam mo bagay kayo apo-" "Grandma!" I placed my hands on my face that is probably red right now like a tomato. I sat down on my usual seat but grandpa was no where to be seen.

"Uhm grandma.. nasaan po si grandpa?" I asked before taking a bit of food to my plate, I won't eat that much because I still have a bit of headache from all the wine I drank last night. I won't tell grandma though, I don't want her to worry enough to cancel our shopping. I was given grape juice with the lowest sugar level I can have. While I chew on my food silently I didn't know my grandma was staring all this time. I let out a chuckle and smile before asking why she was looking "Nothing hehe.. I'm just so excited and proud of you that you are going to turn 18 years old and at the same time you are the valedictorian of your batch, I can never be proud than ever in my entire life. I'm so proud of you apo." I smiled from ear to ear, I took a glass of water and drank a bit "You know grandma.. kayo lang ni grandpa ang ganiyan sa akin. If only mom is here.. I know that she would be proud as much as you are and grandpa." I tried to control my tears from bursting and bit my lip.
