The next morning, we had a nice breakfast by the balcony. I don't have to rush things because we have no classes today, but I'll attend our practice later.

"Well hija, whom are you going to dance with last? Hmm?" My grandmother, Lancy looked my way while chewing her food. I coughed before coming up with something to say. "As long as the party will carry on normally, grandma, I'm fine. I don't want anything extravagant actually, but for the sake of meeting our far relatives, this will be a nice move to invite them to our home once again." I forcefully smiled before drinking wine. I honestly don't want to do anything with my relatives.

Most of them are inbred pathetic beings, some of them lingering around us whenever babushka is linked with some sort of health issue. That only means one thing. They are after the wealth and whatever my grandfather owns.

Babushka Dazmon and grandma Lancy have 5 children, 2 whom they had disowned after they were caught pocketing allowances from the projects that they were assigned to years ago. My father Damon is the first child, technically being the one assigned to handle all of our businesses and organizations, but I highly doubt the abilities of my father. He has a lot of secrets to which he is hiding on the very soil of this mansion. I know him so well, that is why I despise him so much.

Aunty Diamond, the first daughter but the second child of my grandparents. She turned out to be a lone woman up until now, matandang dalaga as they say. I believe she's in Italy spending every quarter she can of the family's money; and lastly Aunty Diana, the second daughter. She currently is working for babushka's main fuel power plants. Knowing her, she is extremely strict and dry, but among them, I know that she is the one that is most capable of doing the job right, the job of following or replacing babushka. One of the reasons why my father hates her. My father thinks he is entitled to have everything he wants even if he is not deserving.

"Fleur, Wayne Jacoby, one of your friends and also the first child of Warne Jacoby, one of the stockholders of our school. Hindi ba kayo nagkakamabutihan? Why don't you dance with him? I haven't seen the list that you made for your party, but I'm hoping you added him to the list." I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Napaka-feelingero ng lalaki na 'yon. Makita ko nga lang siya sirang-sira na buong buwan ko. The list that I made is truly unserious, as I only wanted to make something up for my grandparents. Lahat ng gusto nila sinusunod ko, pwera na lang sa tatay kong bastardo.

"Can you please stop acting like you care? Not like you were sniffing drugs last night-"
"Keep your tone down, young lady!"
"...and what does this mean? Damon? Why are you doing this again? What will the people say? Dean ka pa man din, what if this gets to the media again?" My grandfather asked with a husked tone. I met the piercing gaze of my gambling, drug addict father.

I despise your entire existence.

"Babushka, grandma.. I have to go. We have a graduation practice for today, and I have to participate." I removed the napkin cloth from my thighs and sipped a bit more wine from my glass. I kissed their cheeks as my farewell. They no longer noticed me as the tension arose after what I said. Hindi naman sa nakita ko siya kagabi, pero halata sa namumugto niyang mga mata.

"Rodrigo, start the car," I commanded Rodrigo, my personal driver. Rodrigo had been around in my entire life. He started as my personal driver as early as 3 years old. I don't know what kind of life he has, but he had always been quiet and mysterious, and for me, I like it that way. It's not as exciting when someone is talkative when they no longer remember their place in the world.
