Sunnys Upgrades / Moons first meeting

It's been two weeks now since I've started at the daycare. The children are still really scared of Sunny, but started to gain more trust to him. So did I. After what Julia told me, I was kinda scared to come back, but the lights are always on so it's fine. It's also quiet amusing to hear Suns reaction about the outside. The children always agree and laugh at Sunny's panic, which I'm still not sure if it's played or not. It's hard to read his mood for, well, everything. The parts for Sunny should be delivered this week, but how long do we need to wait? It's only Tuesday. Another bad thing was that some kids ask everyday about Moon. Sunny seems always so depressed after the topic gets changed. If only the virus would just disappear...

„And be sure to tell your friends to come again!"
„The last kid was exhausting. Puh..."
„Sometimes they are indeed. But playtime is just super duper this way!"
„Of course, heh."
„My already empty?"
„MISS RIST! Oh hoho! It's been a while!"
„It sure has Sunny. We just got your parts. Do you want to start?"
„Ehehehe...uhm. I-I a-already???"
„Can I come too? We cleaned up already and it's just boring without Sunny."
„Of course. Who knows, maybe you can help me."
I looked to Sunny who seems more convinced.
„I would love to help! I'd stay at his side till he wakes up again!"
„P-promise?"
„Promise."

I felt really sorry when I tied up Sunny in this chair, but this is only for safety. Why an animatronic can attack even though it should be shutdown, is a total mystery for me.
„Are you sure you want to stay all the time? It might take hours, you know?"
„I will stay. I promised him that and a promise never breaks."
„Alright. Let's do this."
„Wait, only we? Where are the others from Parts and Services?"
„They don't take the nightshift, because the animatronics behave 'weird' in the nighttime."
„And the afternoon?"
„Already gone."
„...Tell me where I can help then. Don't want you overworking yourself."

Julia was always on the computer next to the capsule while she gave me instructions on how to remove everything. The endos or whatever she called it looked more than creepy. Pretty sure I'll get nightmares of this thing the next time I sleep. Which will be tomorrow probably. Oh!
„Is Suns body also getting repaired?"
„Hm? Oh, yes! If we change him a little, we can just do the whole body set."
I pulled the box with his parts into the capsule and rubbed my back. Why are these things so heavy???
He surely isn't that heavy, right?
„Concentrate! This is the most dangerous part."
„Y-yes."

It's weird to see Sun without anything. If the skeleton was here with out any explanation, I'd never guess that this is Sunny. At least the children will never see that. Julia typed something in the computer again, while I looked at his back. Weird...there is Sunny's chip, but what about Moons?
„Julia? Isn't Moons chip supposed to be here as well?"
„...It should be. Wait a second."
Minutes passed, before she slammed her fists on the table.
„Fuck!"
„That bad...?"
„You can say that again...Just...I think his AI is somehow now Sunny's too."
„Meaning?"
„...Moon could wake up any second and he won't be glad to see himself in there."

I gulped and looked at the parts.
„...We should hurry than."
„I know I haven't told you this, but Moon is AGGRESSIVE. He won't hesitate to attack you."
„That's why I said we should hurry! What is the next part?"
„...Open the caps and slide it slowly on his legs."
Not only I have pressure due to Moons A.I, but also fear that I might do something wrong and be the problem for his malfunctions later on. I hate this kind of responsibility.
„You doing good in there?"
„Yeah, just nervous...VERY nervous."
„Sunny will understand if we do a hold up-„
„No. I promised him to stay so I will."

The chestplate and faceplate were the last things that were missing. I looked at his back again and paused.
„...check the A.I again if there are two."
„Don't tell me the chip is back."
She typed hesitantly and mumbled, what I couldn't understand in the capsule. Great. That means Moons chip is glitching out of reality! Just great.
„Please look at his chip! I see the virus!"
„Really?!"
„Yes, don't move or do anything! I just need a few minutes to-„
The lights went out all of a sudden and left us in complete darkness. I looked still in the direction, but noticed that the endoskeleton is different. His parts are faintly glowing.
„FUCK! I'll go quickly to the generators and power them on! Just hide for now behind his seat!"

I heard how footsteps went back to the door and than was complete quietness. I did what she said and sat down with the back to the table. How long have we been here anyway? It must definitely be the next day already. Damn am I tired...
„...So they finally scrap us, heh."
I flinched heavily by the knew voice that was coming from the table.
„It was just a matter of time. Especially with me inside of Sunny."
Is that maybe...Moon? He doesn't sound like a maniac or someone aggressive. Would it be wise to talk to him?
„...I sense someone is in here. Come out before I do it for you."

His voice went deeper and a red glow came from the table. I took all my strength together and stepped in front of the new character. Thanks to his red eyes, I was able to see that his parts went from yellow and orange to blue and dark blue. He tugged on the ropes and seemed to scan me.
„You're new."
„Yes uhhh...Moon?"
„What? Scrape me already."
„Whatever that is, we're not gonna do it. You both only get upgrades."
The blank stare of an endoskeleton is definitely scarier than Suns. 
„Totally. You suck at lying."
„And you at being friendly."
„Want to repeat that?!"

I backed away for a second as he snapped the ropes away from his hands. What's the point of pinning them down, if they still can break through it???
„Are you scared?"
I breathed in and out and came closer to Moon.
„If you wanted to attack me, you would've done that already."
He hold onto my arm and pressured his strength on it. It hurts, but I didn't move back.
„Why hurry if I can kill you easily?"
„Because you know that you don't have much time left. Someone is already turning the lights back on."
„Than I do need to hurry!"
He pierces his fingers in my skin and I sank down. My pain whimpered in screams out of my mouth. I looked him begging in the eyes, but he just laughed at it.

He seems to enjoy my pain, but something isn't right. He only got so defensive when I insulted him. I'm to tired to think clearly and as far as I can tell, I'm loosing blood too. He isn't planning on killing me. That's the only thing that is clear to me. A warning maybe?
„RUN."
„How when I can't get out? You're stuck with me for a little while."
„Don't you think it's the other way around~?"
„No- mmh! You have a strange way of warning someone..."
„Warning?! I'm going to kill you slow and painfully!"
„Like I said there is no time for that! Ugh, just let me go. Bad enough that I need bandages now."
His grasps got softer, but he still didn't let go of me.

„I just hope that the blood on you can be washed off or else my paycheck gets reduced."
„You only care for the money?"
„I care for your guys reputation and bloody fingers is not really a good one."
He finally let go and I hold immediately my hand on it. This feels like a lot of blood...
„You're weird. To weird for me to kill you."
„Geez, thank you so much for this insult."
„I can always tear my finger in your flesh again."
„No thank you. This one hurts already way to much."
Shit it won't stop bleeding...
„Can you speak with Sun right now?"
„Why?"
„Cause I maybe can't hold my promise with him."
His eyesights went darker and a few seconds passed, before I heard a chuckle.

„He said you are the worst person ever to break such an important promise."
„Heh...fair enough..."
„What was that promise?"
„To stay with him till your upgrades are over, but I guess my blood loss came through it."
„Did I hit a vein?"
„I don't know I can't see."
Shit my consciousness is dropping...
„Seems like you will die if no one helps you."
„Than tell Sunny I'm sorry."
„Not gonna scream for help?"
„Why? You gonna help me?"
I laughed a little and sunk on the ground next to him. Fuck...I didn't expect this outcome.
„Tsk. Can you stand up and come to me? I can stitch it."

I tried wobbling to him and tripped. My face landed directly on his endoskeleton.
„Are you hurt?"
„As if. This is gonna hurt a bit."
I felt a needle and how my blood keeps flowing out.
„Yep, hit a vein. This one's gonna hurt pretty much."
I just nodded, while the pain became a distant feeling. The pain he mentioned didn't even came at me. Nothing hurts anymore. It's just this heavy feeling on my eyes.
„Don't dare to die on me after I helped."
I smiled a little and sank down on the ground again.
„This- you've got to be kidding me."
A flow of light overflow my eyelids and before I lost my consciousness, I saw how Moon or Sun hold me close in their arms.
