The plan

We spent the four days coming up with ideas how we could prevent it. The lawyers are extremely good for the Freddy Company, but since my parents only want me, they won't act on. My brother could jump in for my defense, but I can't reach him. Julia also mentioned that the boss isn't fond of having more money problems, considering the P&S guys got a bit more money the last two months. So I was extremely relieved when my brother came into the daycare at Saturday.
„Y/N, I'm so sorry for not coming sooner! I had a really payable client on the line, but they rejected me."
„Would you also work for free for me...?"
Chris smiled and tousled through my hair.
„For my little sibling? Anything. But didn't the Freddy Franchise had like super big and reliable lawyers?"

I took his hand away from my head and shook the head.
„No, since it's a personal matter."
„I will always help you out. But are you sure I can win this?"
„...I know we tried it once before, but this time you are the lawyer and not the kid who has to make a statement."
„You're speaking of this one time right?"
He looked away and folded his hands.
„Y/N, if we don't win this, you know who will get the punishment."
„I know...it would be me who gets marked, but we have to take everything we have!"
„I get the feeling there is something else you ain't telling me."

I looked to Sunny, who was playing with the kids. Getting the confession over was hard enough, but telling my brother this? He would be more than overprotective.
„Not yet. I will tell you once this is all over."
„Alright. But I wanna punch that person who is with you."
„What?!"
„So you are together with someone. Now I'm kinda jealous that you already got someone at your side and that I will probably stay single forever."
My face flushed red and I awkwardly laughed. If he wants to break his hand, so be it. Hopefully he won't freak out about it...
„So you will be on Sunday with us?"
„To the end and back. If you are sure that I will win this, I will. We have the evidence, audios, videos and fotos. To be honest, I also wanted to try it again."

I told Chris that he should come back with Laura and Hailey later in closing hours so we could make a plan. I don't want them to be alone at home with these people. Sunny happily agreed to watch over them, as long as me and my brother talk about it.
„We can be happily together! Isn't that great!!?"
„Yes."
„What's wrong?"
„Nothing, it's just...the last time we tried to confront our parents in court, it didn't went all smoothly. We lost and...things happened."
„What kind of things?"
„Imagine Moons Virus and a drunk parent."
„T-That bad?? Did you got-„
„No. It was Chris who got the punishment for standing up. I can't tell you more, it's a really sensitive subject..."

He was silent for the rest of the time, till the daycare got closed. Yet no one came. Strange...maybe they have to sneak out? If that's the case we can wait till midnight. I thought these donkeys would work. Guess they also prepare for the worst.
„We don't know what the human rights really say, but can't you decide for yourself where you live?"
„That is correct, but they will make this so twisted that the others hurt me all the time or that the Pizzaplex wouldn't allow me to go back or that I would live here without acceptance of the company."
„Isn't it lying?"
„Yes, some lawyers do that. Lying so their client can be free even though they need to be punished...that's how life works."
Moon looked disgusted, but didn't say anything else to that.

But once it was nearly midnight, I got really worried. Something must have happened, Chris is never late for anything!
„...I'm going back."
„WHAT?!"
„My siblings might be in danger! I can't leave them like this!"
„No! You will get hurt!"
„I can take care of this!"
„We don't want to see with bruises and cuts again! It's out of question that you go alone!"
„I have to!"
„You can't!"
„Stop you two! No one has to go anywhere."
„Chris! Why did you take so long?!"
