The clue we needed

Once it was time that the lights are out, Moon and I were carefully doing our patrols as Eclipse did the hacking for tonight. It wasn't really that great to talk to each other though. Moon is still mad that I didn't give him a proper answer.
„I don't trust Eclipse at the security."
„Why?"
„He might search something different."
„Like what?"
Moon didn't respond and walked quietly next to me. I hate the fact that they are still so many secrets they can't tell me. They basically know about my whole life at this point, yet I know so little about them. It makes my sad and angry at the same time. So when we went to the kitchen so I could grab something to eat, Moon finally spoke again.

„Y/N? Are you in a bad mood?"
„Of course not! Why would you ever think like that?"
My sarcasm got supported with my sighing and rolling eyes.
„What did I do wrong now? Every time I say something or move wrong, you are in a bad mood!"
„Well maybe because I'm sick of all those secrets!"
I make quick a sandwich, my mood swift the knife faster as I could handle.
„Just because we kept that with Eclipse for us?!"
„Not only Eclipse! Yes, he is a main part because I had to find out the HARD way about him. Just like your virus, the fact that you KILLED- what else have you not told me that is important?!"
„As if you don't have any secrets you keep!"
„Sadly not anymore, because you know everything about my life at this point! And I know nothing!"

I cut myself in the finger, lying the knife down and shaking my hand. Moon took my hand in his, pulling me towards him.
„I'm sorry...but me and Suns past is nothing you should know about..."
„And why not? Let me guess, I couldn't handle it? Like the fact you BOTH killed?"
„No. In fact, you would handle it after all this that we know about you and what had happened. However, we don't want to remember that clear what happened while we were programmed and got...tested."
He sank down on his knees and kissed my forehead.
„But I promise that we have nothing else to hide from you."
„...Nothing else? No important things or another animatronic inside you?"

Moon looked away, oil teared up in his eyes.
„Not anymore..."
So there has been something sad and traumatic happened back than...great, another thing to learn about them.
„If I find one thing about you out that is still important from someone else I will get mad."
„Don't worry, we don't have anymore secrets."
Moons smile made me nervous and overthinking wether to trust him with this or not. Better just change the topic.
„Is Sunny even active during this virus time? I know he has no memories, but is he still on?"
„Y-yeah...I was also nightly active when the virus was still...it feels like you are trapped in your mind and can't act with anything."

That doesn't sound so pleasant. Trapped inside your own Mind?
„And you can't talk or do anything at all?"
„No, but you can hear what happens- mostly. Sun doesn't respond so maybe he shut himself off at nighttime while this virus is inside us."
„Maybe..."
He stood up and gave me my sandwich, which I ate really fast so we could continue our rounds.
„Is your finger alright?"
„Yeah It's just a cut, no worries."
We were walking hand in hand through the different floors and restricted areas as I noticed that one door I wasn't allowed to go in.
„Hey say...what is in this level ten restriction thing?"
„It's better to not know..."

My dissatisfaction grew even more as another secret added up. Only because my level is 5? Come on...
„Don't look at me like that..."
„And you said no important secrets."
„I said no important secrets of me and Sun."
„So you admit that you tricked me?"
„Yes, yes, I admit...if it helps your curiosity, your so called friend tossed the bodies all the time in this room."
„Michael?"
„Eclipse."
I looked back to the door. Nothing looks ominous except the high qualification you need to get inside...
„So this is the room where...the dead bodies where?"
„And are."
