I took a deep breath and went with my siblings inside the Pizzaplex. Guess Chris didn't joke about them visiting my job. I told him that it's expensive, but he didn't care. Why with this income? Just like me he saves up for a house far away from my parents so when everyone is an adult, we can leave them. Of course I also want to help so here I am with not even an income of 1000$.
„You should come to the daycare at last. I have more time to talk to you than."
„So the best comes at last?"
„I wanna go to Roxy!"
„No! I wanna go to Monty!"
„Have fun with them."

I wanted to go, but Chris hold me up. He caress on my cheeks where I put band aids on.
„Look after yourself."
„I will."
We stayed like this for a moment till he let go and snipped against my forehead.
„Than be safe when we pick you up."
With that he left me alone. As if something while daytime could happen. Maybe intruders or kidnappers, but this place is highly secured. So why are so many children missing around here? Maybe I SHOULD look out a bit better. Just in case someone try's something. Should've learned that already after Moon went aggressive over a little insult, but now is better than never.

After changing to my uniform, which was already as good as new, I knocked on the wooden door and waited for Sunny to open it. There was no response so I knocked again. Normally he would storm to the door. With heavy tries I opened the door and looked around. It's quiet...a have they gone eating? It's not even lunch time. I found a child hiding behind the security counter.
„Hey, Are we playing hide and seek?"
„Psst! The bunny will find you!"
„What bunny?"
„She said we will play, but than she got a knife out and-„
„Calm down, it's ok. I'm here. Where is Sunny?"
„We don't know...I want my mommy..."
„You will see your mommy, I'll make sure of it. Stay hidden, I will find Sunny and deal with that bunny."

I wandered around and saw different children also hiding. Why didn't she attack one if they are so seeable? And where is Sunny? He never leaves the daycare without children. Maybe he got knocked over by the rabbit? First I have to call security, than look for Sunny. I went back to the desk and tried dialing the office. No connection, of course. I can't just leave the kids alone. Is Sunny getting another upgrade? No, they would wait after closing time. Fuck, what should I do??? I heard laughing in a distant corner, an older womanly voice. Slowly sneaking, I went to the play structures to see a white bunny costume. The back was stitched with fabric and different colors. A child was in front of it, that lied unconscious. The rabbit raises the knife and I went to grab it.

The head turned, but I already had the knife and hold it against their neck.
„If you try any funny business, your throat will be slit open."
It raised the hands in the air, so I hold the knife closer.
„What did I just say? Do you want a scar? I'll give you one!"
My hands shake so much...I never threatened someone this is terrible! What I didn't expect was that the one in the costume took my hand and swung to their own neck.
„NO- DON'T-?"
She repeated it countless times, before I took the knife and tried cutting my hand. The blade is plastic. That isn't a real one...

The bunny took of their head and exposed a woman with a blond ponytail.
„Congrats, you passed the security test for the daycare."
„Test...? THIS WAS A TEST?!"
„Yep and you passed it. Maybe not with perfection, but you passed."
„But the children looked all scared and Sunny is gone!"
„Because this was also a test for them on how to behave by a burglar. Sunny watched everything in his tower.
