AUTHOR POV

When the front door opened Soobin shot downstairs. There stood Yeonjun with a smile.

"Come on, lets go" He smiled, becoming Soobin down the stairs.

Soobin completed, going downstairs and putting his shoes on and left the house without a second thought.

"So...where are we going?" Soobin asked. As far as he was concerned they were just wandering aimlessly.

"Just follow me," Yeonjun instructed, taking Soobin by the hand and leading him away from the house in a rush.

Eventually the pair reached the gates to a park.

"Were going here?" Soobin asked.

"Mhm, just you wait" Yeonjun said, dragging Soobin inside.

Yeonjun led him through the park to a small section of trees where soft lights glew.

There was a blanket on the floor and small yellow lights in the branches of the trees. A little basket sat to the side and was filled with all sorts of things.

Soobin froze. He didn't know how to compute it.

"You like it?" Yeonjun asked, slightly worrying.

A smile appeared on Soobin's face.

"I love it," he responded, sitting comfortably on the soft blanket.

Yeonjun sat down, joining him swiftly.

"I hope it's enough for you" Yeonjun mumbled, putting his head on Soobin's chest.

"Why wouldn't it be enough?" Soobin asked, looking at Yeonjun in confusion.

"Maybe you had bigger ideas? I don't know" Yeonjun answered.

"It's more than enough for me. I could stay here for hours as long as you're here" Soobin smiled, running his hands through Yeonjun's hair.

Yeonjun smiled widely and giggled slightly.

He was happy that he had done well but he was more happy to hear that Soobin had thought of staying there for a while.

It gave the other 3 more time to do what they had to do after all.

KAI POV

"You know, I really don't want to be here after the other day" I mumbled, feeling my stomach churn as he walked up the driveway of Soobin's empty house.

"Neither do I baby but we have to, you know how serious it could be" Beomgyu said, smiling at me weakly.

I nodded and huffed, accepting my position.

"Where did he say the key was?" Taehyun asked.

"Under the left pot" I answered swiftly.

Soon enough the door flung open and we were in.

"Do we have an order to go in?" Beomgyu asked, realising the job was bigger than we once thought.

"We start in the kitchen, then the living room, then we'll go upstairs and do the bedroom and bathroom. The outside is last. If you find anything weird, refrain from touching it and dont cause massive disturbances to things" Taehyun explained.

He is honestly a master tactician.

And with that we started the search.

The kitchen. The only thing we knew about this room is that this was where Soobin's mother had died. We never heard about her before that so it was weird to hear that she suddenly died here. Other than that this room had no explanation.
