**Ian POV
Ezra was now staying at the house, and they decided to room him with me.

They SO did that on purpose.

I hate my friends sometimes.

And being a night owl, it made it that much more awkward when Ezra would wake up and see me occasionally stare at him.

It's only been three days and I guess my crush was that obvious.

"You're doing it again, Ian." He said, and I looked over at him, his eyes weren't even open this time.

"Sorry. I didn't...I'll stop, good night." I told him, turning over and trying to go to sleep.

*** **** ***
I could feel the awkwardness in my veins when I got up for school the next day.

Though Ezra didn't seem to show any bother about it.

At least, none that he made a fuss about, since he was an early riser and always was up helping Caleb cook.

Or more like watch him and keep him company in the morning.

"I've never had an omelet before." Ezra told Caleb.

Caleb looked at him, "Seriously? Well tell me what you like and I'll make you one. Pick the ingredients and it'll go in."

Ezra looked at them, "Can you...tell me what they are?"

Caleb was thrown even more for a loop, but he went on to tell him some of them anyways.

"Morning, everyone!" Lydia cried, coming in dressed ready for the spring in a yellow sundress and black sandals.

"Isn't it supposed to be cold today?" I asked, since I was in jeans and t-shirt.

Lydia grabbed the box of Lucky Charms and bowl and scoffed, "Only in the morning. That's why I have my sweater."

I looked at her bag and saw her black cardigan sweater with a falcon pin instead of a bee.

Guess she had a point.

"Here. Your omelet. Can't believe you've never had one before." Caleb said, handing Ezra a plate with the folded egg.

Ezra smiled, "Thank you. We did not do something as fancy as this when I was growing up. We did not have the materials for it."

I frowned, when did he grow up.

Something tells me he didn't grow up in the past decade or even the century.

"You don't eat eggs?" Ezra asked Lydia.

She shook her head, "No. I don't eat meat or eggs by themselves."

"She's weird like that." Caleb teased, making me a ham and cheese omelet.

Lydia rolled her eyes, not really caring so much about what he feels with her vegetarianism, so it was more of an inside joke I guess.

Nora and Kit came in, Nora going over to Caleb and whispered something in his ear.

Now that we'd been a team for a while, things were much more relaxed between us.

Now we have a new member throwing everything off and I wasn't sure how I felt about it, especially with my clearly obvious to everyone but Ezra crush on him.

Doubt he's even into guys.

"You save any cereal?" Kit asked Lydia.

She nodded and pointed at the box.

Kit picked it up, "Bloody liar, there's none left!"

"Oops. I thought there was." Lydia said, putting on her best ditzy blonde routine, even though we knew she was much smarter than that.
