**Ian POV
Burning.

That's what I remembered, my skin burning.

"This shouldn't have happened." Lacey said, almost in a whisper as she held her cane as Lark tried her best to cool the burns on us all.

Lydia was silent, what was there to say?

There was literally nothing to say.

"How do we fix this?" Caleb suddenly asked, his voice sounding unsure, but he looked over at Ezra.

Ezra looked utterly defeated, "I'm not sure we can. The last time....Desdemona took someone like that...I had to lock her away. She killed everyone, my team...everyone she loved."

We looked at each other, shocked that he was speaking in this way.

"Who was this other host you're talking about?" Cam asked as we were just in stunned silence.

Ezra was clearly hesitant.

But he sighed, "Her host was the last green ranger and...my friend, Nadua. She killed my entire tribe and the majority of my team, except me and our pink ranger, Lotsee."

"She killed your team?" Nora asked.

He nodded, "Not because she wanted to. Desdemona used her body to do it against her will."

"That's not what I meant." Nora argued.

"Tell us what happened, maybe we can think of something so history won't repeat itself." I told him.

Ezra looked unhappy, "I don't know, I don't like to talk about it. For me it was yesterday, but for you...200 years ago."

Lacey stood up, "But it may be the difference between us freeing Kit and saving your second team from the same fate."

"Please." Lydia begged, looking ready to cry once more even after stopping.

She'd been inconsolable for hours.

Lark went up to him and said, "Maybe it's time you processed what you've been through. Two hundred years is a long time to not do that."

Ezra looked at his hands, not wanting to do this task.

But he knew what this meant to us.

"Okay, have a seat then."

**3rd POV
Desdemona made Kit look unsettling as she stared off into nothing with her orange eyes.

"Mistress, how is the Warrior of Fire's body treating you?" Thanatos asked as he and Azrail walked towards her.

She scoffed, "Fine. Though she's different from the last one. This one has more fire to her than the last. She would have been better for water than fire."

Azrail then spoke up, "So this one is better?"

"I wouldn't say that. The last one had more anger to her, untapped rage. This one is...less so. Disappointing really." Desdemona said, making Kit's English accent disappear as she spoke.

"What will you do with her?" Thanatos laughed.

She smiled.

It was a cruel smile, one that wasn't Kit's at all.

Purely the demoness inside her.

She replied, "What I did to poor Toshawi's last team and family. I'll destroy them all!"

Kehetu looked nice, especially since his father was our chief.
