**Lacey POV
I was having dinner with Cam, Ophelia, Jo and Lark.

We hadn't had dinner together in a while and I just wanted to make sure everything was okay.

Especially ever since our "vacation" to the beach.

It didn't feel like a vacation though.

However, here we were, eating dinner as if everything had happened over the past few weeks hadn't really happened.

"So, how's it going with you, Jo?" I asked her.

She nodded, "Good. I am finally getting ready to open the restaurant I always wanted to."

Ophelia smiled, "She's been working very hard."

"I had help, you know." Jo said, looking at her wife.

Jo was a chef and now she was bringing her gift to Raven's Hollow as she attempted to open her own restaurant.

Attempted, being the word.

It wasn't easy with Desdemona running around.

"You know we'll be some of the first in line when it opens." Cam assured Jo and that made her smile even more.

I looked over at Lark and she was very quiet, pushing her food on her plate.

Like she wasn't hungry.

Which wasn't something I was used to.

"Lark, anything exciting happening?" I asked her.

She shrugged, "No. I think we're going to the lake tomorrow, but I'm not sure."

I frowned, I just felt like something was wrong.

We'd been trying to do better at our relationship, as I will admit I was. It is always there, but I try to be supportive of whatever Lark needs.

She wanted to cheer?

Awesome, let's do it.

Gymnastics?

Of course, I have friends that do that professionally.

Everything and anything I could to make her happy without making her completely spoiled, I would do it to make sure I wasn't her grandparents.

However, I was still worried that I was doing something wrong.

I looked at Cam, he gave me the same look.

There was something that was wrong here, but we weren't sure what it was.

"Well, that sounds fun. The weather should be good for that, especially with the heat increasing as well." Ophelia said.

Jo asked, "I'm assuming Caleb is making things, right? Does he need help?"

Lark shrugged, "I don't know, I didn't ask."

Something was wrong.

"I'll be right back." Lark said, getting up and clearly going towards the bathroom.

"Something's wrong." I said to Cam.

He nodded in agreement, but Ophelia asked, "What do you mean? Lark is just quieter than normal, did she have to go through things down in South Padre?"

That was true.

But this seemed to be...something more.

**Lark POV
I went into the bathroom as I heard voices in my head.

That I knew was a bad thing.

I gripped my head, I've had this little voice in my head the past few weeks, however I thought it was nothing.
