**Lark POV
I couldn't believe it.How was I supposed to believe it?
All the rangers...were hurt, their powers absorbed by this new general that Desdemona just raised up.
Who was going to fight her now?
How were we going to win?
"Lark, are you okay?" I heard and there was Ophelia, looking worried at me, which was quite normal these days.
I was so annoyed by it.
So what that another life of mine was bleeding into this one?
Wasn't like I was severely injured.
Even our newest ranger, Ezra, was not in good shape, but was in somewhat better shape than the other rangers were.
"I'm fine. I'm worried about how we're gonna defend Raven's Hollow without the rangers. Mom's still in a wheelchair, I'm obviously losing my mind according to everyone else..."
"That's not what Ezra said." Ophelia argued.
I looked at her, "But that's how you took it. Isn't it? All of you?"
Instead of saying anything, Ophelia stood there in silence, giving me the answer that I really didn't want but knew was coming.
I scoffed, "Yeah, what I thought. At least it's from doing something, I can't stand not doing anything."
"Are you saying we don't do anything?" Ophelia demanded, sounding hurt.
"No, I'm saying what is my role here? You are the den mother, mom is mom being in charge, dad makes everything and Scott protects me. What do I do? I'm Daphne, before she got a kickass makeover, I'm a damsel. It sucks." I answered.
Ophelia said nothing once more and I looked at the rangers, all laying in their beds as if they were taking a nice, normal nap.
Without their powers, it was as if their lives were cut in half, too tired to do much else than turn over in their beds.
"You do more than you think, Lark." Ophelia told me.
I looked back at her and gave her a scowl, "Tell me that when I do something to help save the world."
**Lacey POV
"AAAHHH!" I screamed out in frustration as I fell down to my knees once more.Physical therapy was a bitch.
I was just trying to relearn how to walk probably, and it was just super hard to even do anything in this stupid wheelchair I was in.
And right now...this sucks.
I was so frustrated, put in a coma and I woke up to not be able to walk and just be broken.
As I tried to get up and try again, using the bars to stand up and my sister, Frost, helped me up.
"You're going to fast, slow down. It'll take time for you to get back to the way you were before the coma. And your healing isn't..." she started.
I sighed, "I know. But I hate feeling so...weak."
Frost helped me sit me back down and looked at me, "I know. I know, but you can't force this. What she did to you won't go away overnight."
Desdemona...
"I want to destroy her." I whispered to Frost.
"I'm working on it. There might be another element, but I'm...not sure." She told me.
I looked at her, "Will it help me?"
Frost's blue eyes met my green ones, hers were full of worry, "I don't think you need more power."
