**Caleb POV
This was the end, wasn't it?

The Sky had turned orange, thanks to Desdemona.

The streets were overrun by her Hexe minions and the monsters she brought back.

I guess we just...underestimated her power, didn't we?

"So, what did she do to you?" Jo asked, trying to act as a nurse to mother-in-law, which wasn't going well.

She was a chef, not a doctor.

But our doctor, Ruby, was stuck in Mermaid River.

Currently, we were stuck in our base, trying to think of a plan against Desdemona and what to do next now everything had turned to shit.

Lacey shook her head, "I don't want to talk about it."

"It wasn't like she was doing it herself. You were..." Ophelia started, but Lacey looked at her with a pleading look.

Ophelia stopped as Lacey said, "No! Don't, please. I don't wanna talk about it right now."

Cam grabbed her hand and kissed her forehead.

While Lacey looked more healed physically, she was still obviously hurt and mentally...I couldn't even think about what it was like.

"We should talk about what happens now. It's looking biblical out there." Wes said, looking at the monitor to see what it's like outside.

Frost looked angry, "We need to do something! Anything to help!"

"You forget, we're not rangers." Blake reminded her.

Though her eyes narrowed, Nick stopped her from doing anything to Blake.

Probably a good call.

"I'll take care of that. It's us she wants, come with me and we'll figure out how to mirror the situation." Ezra said, taking the six of them away.

Court and Benny had left, to help their families.

We had so much to think about.

Yeah, she wanted us.

But why?

"Let them talk, we'll give you space." Cam said and with that, the Watanabe family and Scott left as well.

Leaving the original five rangers to discuss what to do next.

It was weird.

Just the five of us.

We haven't been alone for months.

"So, then there were five." I somewhat joked.

I got a pity laugh, which I guess was better than nothing at all

Or worse, I wasn't sure.

Lydia sighed, "So....what do we do now?"

"We have things we need to discuss, don't we?" Kit asked, looking down and then up again.

Her hair was in a messy, curly bun.

Dark circles were evident, she hadn't slept.

Most of us didn't as it was technically early morning now, not that anyone could tell.

The orange skies blocked out the sun.

"We do. Desdemona offered us a way to get our parents back." I added.

I hated saying that, but it was true.

I missed my moms.

Nora shook her head, which must've been heavy due to her braids being up in a bun as well.
