A Ranger Musical: Part 2

**Lydia POV
"He said that?" Lacey asked us, shocked about our news of Lark.

I nodded, "Sadly."

She sighed, "Let's hope he's wrong. I'm not planning on losing my daughter today, I won't allow it."

I looked behind her and saw that Lark's face, which was smiling earlier, was now twisted into a frown.

Sweating profusely.

She was not happy anymore.

"Do we know what she's seeing?" Caleb asked.

"We will, when I'm done connecting everything." Cam said, as I saw him put something on Lark's head.

I looked at Kit and I asked, "Is that...safe?"

He looked up at me, clearly not happy with the question, "I would not make something that could fry my daughter's brain."

Kit stepped in, "She's just worried, we all are."

Cam sighed, "Sorry. But I should be done...now."

He switched it on and I saw...a high school cafeteria, while not the one of Raven Hollow High, but it was familiar.

Ian started crying out, "Is that...Nora, what does that look like?"

She looked at him in annoyance and confusion, "I don't know. A high school, not ours, but a high school."

"It's not her private school. We've been there, it's not it." Ophelia said, finally saying something as she'd been silent since arriving with us.

"East High." Caleb said.

They all looked at him.

"What? I know the school, East High." He said, getting defensive.

Lacey and Cam frowned at one another, "Where is this, East High?" Ezra asked.

Ian laughed, "It's not really a place, it's in a movie. Lark has imagined herself in High School Musical."

"I wouldn't have taken Lark as a Disney Channel kid." I said.

"She's in a Disney Channel movie?!" Lacey cried out.

We all nodded, "It's one of the biggest ones, it came out around 20 years ago, it's a classic movie at this point." Kit informed her.

Ophelia shrugged, "Even I've watched it."

"Someone's gotta tell her the rules." We heard and looked...

That was me!

I was Sharpay?

"Why am I Sharpay? I'm not mean, am I?" I asked, shocked that Lark would do this to me.

"Not that mean, but you can be." Ian admitted.

"Right, the rules. Do we even have rules for drama club?" That voice belonged to Ian.

He was Ryan and I was Sharpay?

Caleb looked at the screen and saw it was true, slowly panning down to the bottom where the next musical started.

It started...with Ezra in the role of Zeke, talking about cooking.

And Caleb saw himself as Chad, Troy Bolton's best friend.

Stick to the Status Quo

"She put us in there?" Ezra asked, clearly confused seeing himself singing about trying new things.

Then, in the middle, there was Lark.

Where Gabriella was supposed to be, "Why are they staring?"

"You're the one that auditioned for the musical." The role of Taylor was taken by Nora, which I guess makes sense.
