**Lark POV
My dad...

Why?

Why would he do this?

He took Morrigan and now he was the one who was possessed.

I hated that he did that.

The entire night I just...

I was crying and sobbing the entire night.

And the rest of the time he had gone missing, I was literally back to being that little girl that was dropped off at boarding school when I was a tween.

I just wanted my dad!

He'd been gone for a week.

It was too damn long and it was completely my fault that he did that, if only I was stronger and kept her at bay...

There was a knock on the door, "GO AWAY!" I yelled out.

The door opened anyway.

"I think you need someone instead of being here alone."

Removing my comforter, Scott was holding the door open for my Uncle Hunter, which made me want to cry even more.

He and my dad were best friends.

"Don't cry because of me, I'm not that ugly, am I?" He teased me, coming to my bed and hugging me as a fresh set of tears came upon me.

"I'll let you two talk." Scott said and closed the door behind him.

As I sobbed, my Uncle just held me.

Just letting me get it all out.

Then I asked, "Why are you here?"

"Lydia called us, told us what happened. Your mom and sister are in a bad state too. Blake had to bring your Aunt Tori for back up." He answered.

Aunt Tori was here?

Mom was like me too?

And Ophelia?

God, I didn't even think about it.

"It'll be okay, we'll get him back." Uncle Hunter assured me.

I shook my head, "How? It's my fault, if I could control her better..."

Uncle Hunter pulled me away and made me look at him, wiping away my tears.

He then told me, "No, it's not your fault. It's not your mom's either. Your dad did this to protect you both, because he loves you."

I started sobbing again.

I knew that was why, but it didn't matter to me.

What I wanted was my dad.

This shouldn't be happening.

"I just want him back." I cried out.

"We will get him back, I know we will."

**Lydia POV
"You think that'll help? Having them here, that is?" I asked the others.

Kit answered, "They've been isolating themselves for days. If anyone, maybe them. If not..."

"We'll call Eric and Wes, the big guns." Caleb said, trying to make light of the situation.

It was so bad, I didn't even know how to explain it.

Out of all people, I didn't expect Cam to go and do something so freaking reckless, especially if he saw what it did to his family.

Lark had not left her room in days.
