**Lacey POV

This was the worst headache I had experienced in a long time.

I felt like I wanted to sit in a ball and cry all day, which I was kind of doing right now due to me being curled up in bed for about two days now.

"How are you feeling?" Cam asked me, coming into our bedroom.

I shook my head, "She's...yelling at me."

He sat down next to me as tears pin pricked my eyes.

As he sat next to me, he stroked my hair in order to try and give me some comfort.

"What do you need? And don't tell me I can't help you, cause I want to help." He told me.

I groaned as Morrigan said, "It's cute how he wants to help."

Looking over at Cam, I didn't want to let him on to how bad this was going, but I'm sure that he could tell by the look on my face.

"I just...need to be alone right now." I told him and he didn't like my answer all that much.

But he sighed and pushed his glasses up once again, "Okay. Let me know if you need anything. I mean it, please, Lacey. Don't let it get..."

"I won't." I assured him.

He kissed the top of my head and then walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.

Behind the door, there she was, tilting her head in both curiosity and what seemed to be disgust.

"That was sweet, disgustingly sweet. How did you marry when you had so many options instead of the nerd over there?" She demanded.

I covered my head in the covers, as I didn't want to hear her speak.

She clicked her tongue, "Like that's going to stop your brain from allowing me to speak, Lacey. No, maybe you should just listen to me for once. Because I'm doing you a favor."

"Which is?" I demanded.

"I'm the lesser evil here."

**Lark POV

"Why do you follow me? You know it annoys me!" I scolded Scott.

He just smiled, he was very much used to my snapping at him at this point, "Because, I'm being paid to follow you. And it's more funny now that you're yelling at me than anything."

"My yelling is funny?" I demanded, turning around to face him.

Scott was still smiling, he found it funny.

I sighed and gave a dirty look, "I don't like you anymore. And I'm not going to talk to you anymore."

Turning around, my back facing him, I couldn't help but smile a little bit as my feelings for him had changed over the past few weeks.

I just...grew very fond of him.

"Ew, get a room!" We heard and looked in the other room, Caleb and Kit were in the kitchen.

We were actually at the rangers house, talking with my sister and such about our Aunt Frost coming to town with Scott coming along.

Clearly, we got distracted when Scott showed up.

My sister smiled, shaking her head, "You two are funny."

"They can be funny somewhere else. Why are they in our bloody house?" Kit asked.

Luckily, it was just those two in the house, as Nora, Lydia and Ian were off at a lacrosse game for the day.

"My sister lives here, duh." I argued.
