**Caleb POV
It was a few days after what happened to Lydia and I was trying to get my act together.
Being nicer and overall just trying not to be an ass.
Lydia seemed to appreciate it, but I think I freaked everyone else out at the sudden personality shift, especially Nora.
She would give me these weird looks when I asked her something and then walk away.
Lark still didn't like me, which was fair as I didn't particularly like her too much either as her attitude didn't really improve after her attack.
She was still rude, but I guess she softened up a bit.
**Lacey POV
I shook my head at what Lark was trying to do, as she was still recovering from the horrible bite mark on her neck.
That was not going to heal very fast.
"I don't need your help! I can handle this myself!" She yelled at Scott, our new recruit.
He didn't seem to mind, in fact, he found it funny when she had her outbursts, "I know that, Lark. I just think you shouldn't be doing anything..."
"DO NOT FINISH THAT SENTENCE!" She yelled at him.
I could hear her in the living room of our house and Cam just looked at me, "She is your daughter."
"What are you implying? I have anger issues?" I asked my husband in a teasing manner, leaning forward towards him.
He leaned towards me, "Maybe, what are you going to do about it?"
"Depends...are my anger issues a bad thing?"
"I don't think so, I think they make you much more attractive to me."
Oh, he's good.
I kissed him to show what I wanted to do and he kissed back.
We went on to do that for a few seconds till we heard, "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!"
We broke apart and looked behind the couch to see our daughter standing there, her face flushed red in what was either embarrassment or anger.
That really made the white gauze bandage on her neck stand out.
Scott was behind her and he just had his head in his hand due to the frustration.
"Yes, hello Lark. Do you mind telling me why you're yelling?" I asked her, irritated now with this attitude.
She sighed, "I can't go anywhere without my shadow, which you put and now my parents are making out. My life's great, what else can I ask for?"
Lark started walking towards the door, Scott following.
But she turned around, "You stay HERE!"
My daughter opened the door, and slammed it shut in his face.
"She's very...vocal." Scott said.
Cam sighed, "You have no idea."
I elbowed my husband, he knew who he was marrying, "It takes two to have a kid, you have anger issues too."
"I'm not as vocal though." He argued back.
Scott clearly felt awkward, "I'm gonna...follow her. From a distance."
He walked out the door, leaving us alone once again.
"Now, where were we?" I asked him.
Cam took off his glasses, "I think I remember."
