Ok y'all, I wanted to get the fully colored and finished piece ready for today's chapter...but, holy shit...

This alone took me about 3 hours.

Also, a reference was HEAVILY used for the background. Idk how some people specialize in that shit, it was so stressful😭 hopefully I'll have this colored by tomorrow. If not, idk, burn me at the stake or something.

Ok, love you, toodles👋🏻

Fawn's POV

Dinner was absolutely delicious. I don't think I've ever had anything quite that good before...and getting to make that with him has already rooted itself into my brain as a core memory.

Not only was he patient, but he was actually a fantastic teacher. He didn't take things from me to do it himself if I was a bit slow, he actually would stop what he was doing to help me.

Somehow, he still managed to time it to where we ate at 6:30 sharp, just like we do every single night.

It was...fun.

I had fun cooking with him.

He also surprised me with a bottle of high end red dessert wine. However, he doesn't enjoy sweet things, so I drank that while he had whiskey.

Needless to say, time really does fly when you're having fun.

Two hours passed like ten minutes, leaving both of us a little tipsy and completely full.

I giggled after Al told another stupid joke, and snorted softly before nearly falling out of my chair.

We both burst into another fit of laughter after that, and then he sighed and stood up smoothly.

"Well, my darling love, I hope you enjoyed your evening," he slurred his words just barely, but managed to still sound elegant as always.

He started gathering our empty plates, and I stood up before immediately having to steady myself when the room spun a little.

I giggled and nodded, "it was wonderful, baby, thank you so much," I responded, just slightly less articulate as he was.

He came over to me, leaning down to kiss my cheek.

"You're very welcome, sweetie," he said softly, making me blush and smile.

When he started towards the sink, I followed him, grabbing a dish towel.

"Dish time!" I sang, swinging the towel around before stopping by the sink.

"I can handle it, dear," Al said, to which I shook my head.

"No, unacceptable, I am helping and that is final mister," I said, crossing my arms, "we both cooked, so we both clean, that's the- the law!" I said as if I knew what the hell I were talking about.

He snickered slightly, "my love, you drank quite a bit of that wine, didn't you?" He asked me, phrasing it more like a statement.

I glanced to the side, "I mean...you weren't gonna..." I mumbled.

He laughed, then, and shook his head, "fine, fine, we'll both clean, you tiny drunkard."

I took the first plate from him to dry, and scoffed, "I am not that small," I argued childishly.

He hummed, turning towards me but he kept his eyes straight forward, looking over my head, "are you sure—? Wait...where did you..." he looked around confused, and then looked down and perked up, "Ah! There you are~" he purred, lowering his eyelids and bending down to be eye level with me.
