A day didn't passed without Julie and Elmo talking and a week never passed that they didn't find ways to see each other even in late nights…they found that late nights safe for them to see each other, they could even stroll around BGC without anyone noticed them as they were wearing their mask and a hoodie with a face shield too. And when they were not together they were on facetime every now and then when there was nothing else to do or any scheduled online work or lock in tapings.
And tonight Elmo decided to visit Julie at past midnight because he's not seeing her for three weeks now and he missed her so bad. She was quite busy with her show The Clash, and she will be gone for a week to shoot her Limitless A Musical Trilogy Part 2 Heal somewhere in Visayas.
" Hey? I'm sorry. Did I wake you up? "
Elmo in his ecstatic voice.
" Hi. Nah. It's okay. I'm still in the studio but we're about to finish."
Julie answered in her soft, low voice, yawning at her last words.
" Oh… I thought you're home now."
His excitement easily fizzled out, and Julie could tell with his tone.
" I miss you, baby. Do you want to see me? "
" Can I? But you were already tired and---"
" Please…come. I miss you so much, Moe."
" Are you sure? "
" Yeah. Do you remember the condo I bought? In Timog?"
" Yeah. At Victoria Towers. Why?"
" I planned to stay there tonight. I have an early call time na naman tomorrow eh. Just bring some clothes. You stay there for a while, so I could get to see you whenever I want. Ang layo ng condo. Please? "
Elmo's face lit…his smiles turned into a giddy grin.
" Are you sure about that? I can drive to see you…will tito and tita allow you---"
" Yes. They will. I'm so pagod na kasi. Please? I'll see you in Starbucks after an hour? Just stay in your car, so no one could see you. You know why, okay?"
" Noted, mam. Yes mam. See you in a bit. "
He said without taking off his smiles.
Elmo heard Julie's laughter.
" Excited ka po, sir? Okay. See you. Don't forget to bring clothes, okay? I just have to spend more days before I leave for Sijuijor. We barely see each other and ---"
" Yes. I'm packing now. Don't worry. I miss you as much as you miss me."
"So can we…you know…give me the label na?"
" Not so fast… Okay. When you get back from your two weeks trip, let's figure things out together."
" Ang tagal naman… Bye for now baby. See you later."
" Okay. I'll be waiting in Starbucks parking lot. But who will drive you to---"
" The driver will fetch Ate Sue---"
" And? What if tito and tita would ask Ate Sue? "
" Nah. They're sleeping but this time. And you can drive me here tomorrow. "
" Julie Anne I don't want Tito Jon---"
" Moe, relax, we're not going to go somewhere and elope. I just want to spend time with you...and we're twenty-seven years old for christ's sake. "
"Because we were alone----"
Elmo's words gave Julie an idea to tease him.
" Like I said, we're old enough. So we can do it. Stop thinking. Let's do it."
