Chapter 17: I Got You Princess

(Mick's Pov)

When we got to the hospital, the guys got out and took Lily away, I tried to follow her but a nurse and Leonard had to hold me back while they quickly had to save her. I don't know what I was feeling, I didn't know what to feel. I felt something fall from my face which made me groan as I rubbed my face and look to see something wet...Was I crying?

I sniffled as I felt someone rub my back which it was Lisa. I sighed a bit "Oh Micky. You're crying" She stated with a sniffle. I didn't say anything as I looked to see Leonard calling someone assuming it was Team Flash to tell them what happened. Lisa wrapped her arms around me as we waited to hear back from the doctor...My heart felt broken...the love of my life, someone who I love more than I've ever loved anything, including burning things...tried to end her life...

I sniffled and sighed as I still had the notebook in my hand. I looked down seeing her suicide note that I didn't even want to read but I knew that I had to...everyone had to. Leonard walked up to me and Lisa "Barry and the others are on their way" Leonard said trying to keep a straight face but he was crying also...Who knew that this woman would make us criminals feel so much and feel this way when she did something bad to herself "We should read this once Barry and the others get here" Lisa said, we nodded as we sat down and waited for something to happen.

After a while, there was still no word from any doctor, I've went up and asked many times but they say they can't give anything out or that she's still in surgery. It was making my blood boil to the point of wanting to burn things and burn this hospital to the ground. I sat back down as Lisa rubbed my shoulders to calm me down. The hospital doors opened to reveal Team Flash running in and looking worried if not crying themselves, "Hey, where is she? Is she okay?" Cisco asked, "No updates" Leonard said,

Everyone nodded and took a seat across from us "She left a note" Lisa said, everyone looked at each other not really wanting to read it either but we all had to. Lisa grabbed the notebook from my hands and quietly read it out loud for all of us to hear...and what she wrote, brought us all to tears...We all felt so guilty because we had absolutely no idea how she felt or what was going on in her head...She felt like a freak and we just let it continue...No one said anything but just quietly sobbed to themselves as we waited to hear from someone...something, please just let her okay...

After what seemed like hours of waiting and pacing, a doctor finally came out "Lily Snart?" The doctor called out, we all stood up and walked over to him "Is she okay?" "What happened?" We all had asked, the doctor put his hands up signaling us to shut up. We all quieted down as he sighed a bit "You guys are very lucky you made it in time when you did" He explained,

Me and the others looked at each other "What happened?" Leonard asked, "well, she's clearly underweight and malnourished so we have her hooked up to multiple IV's that'll help restore her weight and bring her fluids back up. We lost her twice but her lucky enough to bring her back. We had to pump her stomach of the drug contents which caused one of her kidneys to shut down. We removed it and managed to save the other organs before they shut down as well. Her brain had some swelling due to the pressure of the drug but we drilled a few small holes in her head to help reduce the swelling and we had to put a tube down her throat to help her breathe since she can't fully breathe on her own. She'll be unconscious for a while but she will be okay. When she comes to, her speech is going to be slurred and her motor functions might be a little impaired but nothing a little physical therapy can't fix" The doctor explained,

We all sighed in relief and cried some more which made the doctor smile "Can we see her?" I asked, the doctor nodded as he led us to her room. Her head was bandaged, she had a tube down her throat to help her breathe, she was hooked up to a few IV's and the monitor showed her pulse, oxygen and blood pressure. It was just so heartbreaking to see her like this and to know that she thought of doing this again...How did it all go wrong so fast.
