my hands were sweating, i swear i was ready to faint at any moment. this was odd, the feeling of being this nervous before an appearance was so unlike me.

"hey jade, you okay?" calum questioned, he was hanging out in my fitting room like any other totally normal boyfriend would.

"i'm not too sure, my head hurt," i paused. "is the room spinning or is it just me?"

jumping up from his seat to grab my hand, calum pulls me towards the couch against the wall. "here, sit here and i'll be right back, i'm going to go get el."

the second he left, i laid down for what felt like two seconds before someone rushes into the room.

"there you are, j. i miss you," i knew that voice as if it were my own.

"dylan, oh my god, it's been forever," i excitedly say, trying to gracefully stand.

"whoa, you okay? you look sick."

"i'm just nervous, i love ellen so much and the thought of finally being on her show means everything to me."

it was true, i had been obsessed with her show since the first time i saw it back in 2009.

"well lucky for your pretty self, we're gonna be sitting up there together." dylan says, smiling from ear to ear.

when i first met dylan, i thought he was the cutest guy in the world. i mean, he's really cute, but now that i know him as well as i do, theres no chance i could actually date him, i barely take him serious now.

when they announced we'd be filming together, everyone freaked. not only did i gained followers like crazy, but everyone instantly shipped us. ((#dade // #jylan)) we'd purposely go out and do stuff together just to get everyone to freak even more, man the times.

"i heard your boyfriend's band is here too, 5S.O.S right?" he asked, confusion written all over his face.

"well it's pronounced five sauce, not five-es-oh-es," i say, laughing at my friend. "but dont worry, everyone does that."

"well i'm going to go, i'll see you before we head out." giving me a tight hug, he quickly leaves.

leaving me to my thoughts, i lay back down and try to relax.

but all is ruined when calum comes rushing into my room with a bottle of blue powerade in one hand and his cell phone in the other, "i just met ellen and i think i might die."

"well babes, i'm right there with you."

the music was queued so i started to walk out, looking over i see dylan dancing crazily. i knew i shouldnt have let him choose the song, when i heard it was going to be 'single ladies' i shouldve known what he had planned.

we both hugged ellen and sat down, the audience still clapping and shouting our names. "sit down, sit down," dylan says, laughing at the audience.

"i'm so glad you two could be here, especially you, jade. we hear your schedule is super packed," ellen smiles at me.

"first off if i can just say it's an honor to be here, you are literally my all time fav tv host," i excitedly annoynce. "but in all honesty, i dont think my schedule is super jam packed, just feel like i'm use to it."

"well is it true you spend most of your time promoting your movie, but also spend time with your boyfriend and his friends?"

the audience woo'd, here we start with the boyfriend questions.

"yeah promoting is my life right now, but downtime i'm usually with cal, hanging out with the boys." i smile, "oh god, there's a photo."

behind us ellen's people blew up one of my photos with cal when we went to disneyland with the guys, i had bejeweled mickey ears and he had a simple black one with embroidered 'C.Hood' on the front. we looked like a real couple, plus we were kinda cute together.

"you guys always look to be having fun," ellen says, smiling at the photo. "what's the key to your happiness together?"

"well," i didnt know what to say, i mean it was a fake relationship. what exactly do you say? "he's a sweet heart, so we put in equal effort, sometimes we make it a competition because we're both super competitive."

"but do you love him?"

"well i mean," if this isnt awkward i dont know what is, dude.
