i was still upset over the news becca and el dropped on me, upset that all the guys knew yet i was the last to find out. but it was better for me to stop throwing a pity party and just enjoy the time the boys and i had left, my new york trip was just few days away. luckily i would spend a whole week with them, before it was donezo.

"jay, do you want to go out for dinner tonight?" dylan asked as we made our way back to the suv.

we were wrapping up our third, maybe fourth, interview of the day. it pretty much was a blur at this moment, mentally drained beyond repair.

"i'd love to dee, but i have to pack for my trip to new york," i frowned at my friend once we were seated in the car.

"i could always just pick up something and go over?" he suggested, obviously wanting to spend some time together before i leave.

feeling a bit bad for my friend, i agreed. we decide chinese was what we'd have, he told me to expect him in over in an hour or so, our driver drops me off at my apartment and head up.

it felt like ages since i'd been home, trudging from the elevator to my front door, it unlock my door and instantly collapse on my living room couch.

my relaxing state is ended just as quickly as it began, when the all to familiar sound of a incoming FaceTime call ringtone sounds.

"hello, my favorite boys!" i exclaim, jolting up, smiling from ear to ear.

"how is our favorite starlet this wonderful night?" calum asks, as the boys surround him, trying to take a peek at his phone.

"starving, but thankfully dylan will be here soon with food," i answer. "and you, my lads?"

"lads, really?" michael mocks me, causing all of us to let out a laugh. "we're okay, just ready to see you."

the boys all nod in agreement, ashton adds, "especially luke here, isn't that right?"

"shut up, ashton," luke nudges the boy, redness rising to his cheeks. "but yeah, i miss you."

"i miss you too, luke," i sigh. "i miss you all."

we banter back and forth, discussing plans for after my arrival, when there's a light knock at my front door.

"coming!"

with the boys still on my phone, i quickly answer the door. excited to see dylan with a brown bag, obviously full of food.

"well dylan just got here, i'll text you boys when i'm heading out, okay?"

"alright," they all shout in unison.

"tell him we said hey," calum shouts.

"eat some for me," michael jokes.

"can't wait to see you," ashton interjects.

"bye jade," luke sighs.

"bye boys, love you," i say, before ending the call and meeting dylan in my kitchen.

"guys say hi," i say, grabbing cups as my friend figures out who's food is who's.

"they're so nice, can't wait to see them at the premiere," dylan explains.

"yeah that should be fun," i sigh, imagining the day. "let's hurry up and eat, you can help me out pack and we can watch some movies after. deal?"

"i'm so down."
