i had washed up and was currently on my way to a little cafe down the street with michael to catch lunch.

"i think he heard, mike," i confessed, pushing my sunnies up a bit, trying my best not to get noticed. "he was acting pretty weird towards me this morning."

"yeah, when he came by the room for cal, he just nodded at me and left, not a hug or smile," michael frowned, obviously upset about his interaction with luke, or lack of.

"i don't know what to do, i'm genuinely nervous."

we had finally arrived at the cafe, there weren't too many people out today so we agreed to sit outside. it was a beautiful day, but all my mind could focus on was luke knowing about calum.

if i was being honest here, would it really matter if he knew? i mean, it's not like we can publicly date, but then again i'd lose one of my best friends.

plus i wasn't even sure if my feelings were true towards calum, i was a hundred percent positive i liked luke and that i wanted to be with him. but then we can't be together, this was just a mess, a mess i wanted and needed to clean up and fix; something i needed to find a way around, so we could be together.

"we have rehearsal later, maybe afterwards you guys can talk, work something out?" michael suggested, "maybe another date?"

"you know we can't go out publicly, people are going to think something of it."

trying his best to be quiet, yet make his point clear, the boy leaned closer, "who gives a fuck? we're all smart ass people, plus we have the best managers money can buy.

"we'll figure something out, for the two of you."

a bit taken back and surprised by his remark, i smirk at my friend, "are you offering to help make juke slash jake slash lade a real, public thing?"

"yes, yes i am jade lopez," he answers, giddy and happy. "i love you two together, you're my favorite ship to be honest."

without thinking twice, i throw my arms around the red headed boy and squeeze him as tight as i possibly could.

"after muke, but of course."

"you're the best, michael. i'll text him now and start planning, i'm excited!"

jade: babe, i want to go out after y'alls rehearsal, can we?
luke: sure why not? :-)

before returning back to the menus we had, i say, "by the way, muke has nothing on jake."
