CALUM!? i mentally yelled at the girl, i was fuming. of all people, my best friend? why didn't she just tell me, why couldn't she be honest with me?

i ponder on the idea of busting in the room and raising all hell on jade, and maybe even michael because he did keep her little secret from me. but choose it'd be best to just go shower and get ready for the day.

"i don't know jay," michael says, stopping mid sentence when we both hear the shower turn on. "he's here, isn't he?"

letting out a humorless laugh, i nod my head, "we fell asleep while watching x-files."

"he probably heard us, jade!"

"no he didn't, trust me," i smirk at my friend, but deep down i had a feeling he did.

michael had just left and i was impatiently waiting for luke to come out any second. every minute felt like forever in itself, half of me doubted he didn't hear us but the other half believed he did. and right now, that half was overpowering.

"i'm going to go have lunch with calum," luke muttered, bringing me back to reality. "I'll see you later, okay?"

"are you okay, babe?"

"mhm, just want to spend time with cal," luke answered, kissing me on top of my head and quickly leave.

there was something up with him, and it was going to find out if it was the last thing i did today.
