luke

"dude, calm down," michael laughed as i ran around the room, looking for my left shoe. "i'm sure it's around here somewhere."

sighing and running a hand through my hair, i finally spot it, tucked far behind the entertainment. "how the hell did it get back there?"

"no clue," ashton shrugged, winking and giggling at michael. "better hurry, they're almost here."

i extended my arm as far as it could reach, the only sounds i could hear were my groans echoing from the small space i was in.

out of nowhere i hear the giggle that belonged to the girl i had been dying to see for nearly a month now, "crack kills luke!"

feeling the redness rise to my cheeks, i get out from behind the furniture, quickly pick my pants up, and awkwardly laugh. "uh, was my ass really hanging out?"

"no not really," jade smiles, cheeks red, obviously embarrassed.

"if you don't attack her with kisses, luke, i swear i will," calum joked, or at least i hoped he was joking. for his sake.

"hi," i said, walking to her and engulfing her in my arm body heat. "i missed you."

"i missed you too," she says, grabbing my chin and places soft and sweet kisses on my lips.

letting out the most exaggerated groan, michael asks, "great now that you two are reunited, can we go eat? i'm starving."

we all agree, hunger had made a home in us all, jade quickly goes to her room to freshen up before meeting us all in the lobby.

piling into the suv, we head towards a small restaurant jade suggested, in a quiet little part of New York, or so she says.

"come on guys, they have the best italian food around," she laughs, pulling on calum's hand trying to hurry him out the car.

times like this are when i'm usually bummed. i knew the feelings that cal had towards jade were gone, but knowing they were kissing and holding hands; well i just wished that were me.

"hello, how many in your- oh my god, jade lopez?" the hostess exclaimed, "you're jade lopez!"

the girl, who was maybe in her late teens or early twenties, had a medium tan to her skin, almost the same as jade. short dark, nearly black, hair that touched her shoulders and plump, full lips. her legs were long, even though they were covered by black slacks you could tell she was the athletic type, she pretty much looked like a volleyball player, height and all.

"yes, she is and we're trying to be on the down low if you would," jade's body guard explained to the girl, i think his name was jeffrey.

"oh yes, yes i am so sorry," the girl apologized. "i'll put you guys in the back corner, i'll also be waiting on you."

"why?" michael bluntly questioned.

laughing, the girl, who's name tag read ileana, answered, "we're short on staff today, i also apologize."

"no worries, you seem cool," calum casually stated, redness evident on his cheeks.

"cool," ileana giggled, looking towards jade and back down at her feet. "i'll be back to get your drink orders."

we all nodded and quickly picked up menus, once she was out of hearing distance jade let out a low laugh.

"what in the hell was that?" she laughs, causing the rest of us too as well. "was she really flirting with you?"

"i mean, the girls can't help it," calum says, pushing his chest out.

"yeah, have you never met the guy?" michael backs up the boy, obviously being sarcastic.

"be quiet here she comes," i laugh, hitting the giggly michael next to me, causing him to stop.

"you guys know what you want?" ilana asks, smiling at us all.

"calum does," ashton says, letting out a hardy laugh, in which we all equally bust out laughing.

we spend the remainder of our dinner and night making fun of the boy with a school girl crush on the waitress and retreat back to our hotel.
