"what the fuck?" luke questioned, "this is so stupid."

"exactly, we called becca and eleanor," mike stated, getting up from his stop to grab the groceries from luke, and taking them to the kitchen. "they're on their way right now."

i snatch the phone from ashton's hand, letting out a quick apology, and click the link provided. on the website, there's a low quality photo of luke and i pretty close, sunglasses on and obviously talking about the chips we got michael.

"this was today, someone must've spotted us," i sigh.

"but where'd they find this source that says you're in love with luke?" ashton asks, annoyance laced in his voice, feeling exactly how we all feel.

"no fucking clue," i say, looking down at my nails. "i mean it's not like it's true or anything."

"obviously," luke spats, pacing back and forth. "like is it not okay that we're friends, do we always have to be dating when they see us?"

shrugging and taking a seat next to calum on the floor, calum says, "there's nothing we can do about this, let's just wait for the girls."

it takes only about twenty minutes for both el and b to show up, luckily they rode together.

"so what's all this about?" i ask them as soon as we're all seated back down in the living room.

pulling out her laptop, becca replies, "they're just trying to find anything and everything to start rumors about you two."

"but why?"

"no clue, but i did get in contact with the people at e! about the source," eleanor stated, looking directly at luke.

"why are you looking at me?" he questioned, looking amongst the group, obviously nervous.

"well," el sarcastically laughs, "apparently the source was sophie."

everyone's mouth dropped, we were all baffled. sophie, really? i mean where'd she get this intel from, no one ever told her shit.

and that's when it clicked, the day i told michael about my feelings for luke, someone had walked in and heard. it was obviously her, no one else ever told me anything about it.

"fuck," i muttered, thinking i said it low enough. but when i looked up to see everyone's eyes on me, confusion on their faces, i knew it was about that time to tell the truth. all of it.
