the soft murmurs of a conversation going on woke me up. in a sleepy state, I made my way from my bed to the bathroom, freshening up and getting dressed before heading down the hall to the living area. quickly finding my way, I was surprised to find my manager, and best friend, eleanor sitting on my couch in a full conversation. "rebecca, I don't think she'll be down for it. why now? why when her career has just taken off?" - "yes, but-" - "rebecca, I will talk to her. but I can't promise you anything." with that, she hung up, letting her pointer and thumb fingers meet the bridge of her nose.

not letting her know I heard the conversation, "el? what are you doing here?" making a bee line straight to the couch opposite of her.

"just coming by to see my best friend, and best client, jade elizabeth," she joked. "but really, I'm here to talk business."

when el and I were around each other, we never seemed to stop laughing or cracking jokes. but once she turned into my manger things were serious, I call it her 'Sargent Serious' mode, or SS mode for short, "well, lay it on me, babe." I blunted stated.

"okay, so you know how you're staring in that book movie?" she asked, waiting for an answer.

"um, if you mean, maze runner, then I do recall this. why, what's going on?"

"well rebecca, a friend and also a manager of a up and coming band, has asked if maybe, possibly you would want to maybe, possibly pretend to date one of the members?" she rushed the ending out.

"wait, hold on one second, cow girl. pretend to date a band member?" my eyes widened as I restated the question. earning a single nod, "I mean is he at least cute?"

the both of us erupted into hysterical laughter, "she hasn't said which one, because supposedly two of the four are already dating people. but I will most defiantly ask her what's going on."

this time she earned a nod from me, "now, it's almost lunch time, let's head downtown then go shopping." with that, we grabbed our bags and headed out.

the boys and I were out doing what we did best, cause mayhem everywhere we went. we had just done a few cd signings and concerts in Europe for our newest EP, 'She Looks So Perfect', and had finally landed back in LA to begin our Stars Stripes and Maple Syrup Tour. the boys and I were beyond excited, we weren't really known right now, yes people knew our band but they didn't know much. to everyone we were just boy band, when in actuality we weren't anything close to that. we played our own instruments and all, but we were dubbed 'the next One Direction.' we loved those boys, but damn, we were nothing like them.

"hey, you ready?" ashton asked, placing a hand on my shoulder, bringing me back to reality.

"he was born ready, right, luke?" michael answered for me, and I just nodded in response. "well let's fucking do this, mates!" he yelped, pushing us forward, where the screams were coming from, as the security surrounded us.

as soon as the doors opened, all hell broke loose. one moment I was standing by Calum, next thing I knew a girl was pulling me by my shirt. it happened all too fast, the security guard lifted me off my feet, quickly pushing through the crowd of girls. all I could think about was if my mom was okay, but once I made it out of the lobby I saw her standing by the SUV waiting for the boys and I.

once we were in the SUV, it was silent, but Michael was the first to talk. "holy shit, that was crazy," he stated with crazy eyes. "let's do it again!"

"how about no?" Calum said sarcastically, smirking. "that was scary."

"boys, since we're finally back, we have to meet up with rebecca she said she has some things to go over with you all." my mom, liz, announced. we all nodded in unison and went on talking amongst ourselves.

by the time we made it to rebecca, or as we call her, B's office, it was a little after 8 pm, due to traffic and what not. "how are my favorite boys!?" b asked, a smile plastered on her face, embracing each of us.

"good, now what do you want with us?" Michael asked bluntly, earning a serious face from my mom and the rest of the boys. "what? I have game of thrones I could be watching right now."

"missed you too, Mikey. but yes, why you're here is because I have a proposition." b stated looking between the four of us before continuing, "I'm not sure if you guys realized, but ticket sells have been crazy good. so me and a fellow manager of another up and coming celeb have been talking, and we think that one of you nice boys should date the fabulous, jade lopez."

before any of us could say a thing, michael jumped to his feet yelping, "I volunteer as tribute!"

little did anyone know, jade had other ideas.
