"hey boys," jade chimed once we were in view of her, sprawled out on her couch. "what did you lovely guys bring me?"

laughing, calum answered her, "beef quesadillas because i know that's your favorite."

"also couldn't forget that queso stuff you really like and chips," michael continued.

"and i have for you, a route 44 ocean water, we took a quick pitstop just for this," i say, smiling.

she lets out a low gasp when i hand her the large, and in charge, drink. "you guys, i love y'all so much."

"dammit, jade you need to stop with that word you're gonna make me- ow luke!"

before calum could finish his sentance, i smacked him upside the head. "chill, dude."

"it's okay, but wait where's ashton?"

there was a loud boom, followed by a knock at the door. LET ME IN GUYS! could be heard through the door.

"there he is!"

we let the boy in, in tow was two bags which contained our guitars. "can't believe you guys didn't help."

"our hands were full, sorry ash," calum pouted.

ashton obviously couldn't be mad at the kid, everyone fell for calum's pout, not once did that face disappoint.

quickly changing the subject, michael turned to the food and shouted, "lets fucking eat!"
-
after we had all finished eating and helping jade clean up, ashton thought it'd be a good idea to sit out on her patio that overlooked the city, to which we all agreed.

strumming the acoustic guitar, i hum a little tune, from the corner of my eye i see jade staring off into the city lights, dazed by the beauty.

"what's on your mind, jade?" i question the girl.

gulping her water, she shakes her head. "nothing, nothing at all."

michael gets up from his spot closest to the sliding door and sits right next to our friend, "you may be a fabulous actress, but you truly wear your heart on your sleeve. what's going on?"

letting out a large sigh, jade decides to answer him, "you boys are my best friends, possibly the best i've ever had."

"possibly?" calum jokes.

"y'all are, and i truly don't know how to say this," running a hand through out her hair, hade continues. "but my management group talked, and have spoken to rebecca as well, and think it's best if calum and i end things to get us back on the map."

"why?" ashton asked, concern written on his face and laced in his voice. "why all of a sudden?"

"well y'all will be going on tour soon, and we have been dating for seven months now. it's just so people start talking about us again."

"well when is it going to happen?" i interject, million and one questions were going through my mind right now. "like for sure, for sure?"

"no clue, b has to talk to y'all and set things into motion," she sighs once more.

"that means we can't hangout as much then," michael says, looking amongst us. "this is bogus."

"totally bogus, that means we have to hangout as much as possible before they make it happen." jade says, showing off a big grin. "first we have to find out when it's going to happen-"

"-and then we can it all out," calum finishes jade's sentence.

"exactly! i thought y'all would've been mad at me, to be honest."

"why?" we all ask in unison.

"i don't know, but i'm glad y'all aren't," she laughs.

to which we look between the four of us, mind reading one another and pounce onto her.

i'm going to miss this.
