"grab those chips, mike loves them," jade half whispered, pushing her dark sunglasses further up her face. "we need something for ashton."
we were aimlessly walking around the walgreens looking for anything ashton would remotely like. both wearing dark sunnies, and trying our best to keep our voices down. the store wasn't completely full, but there were a handful, or two, of people who were bound to know one of us.
"he loves these," i shout, when i find a snack for our friend. realizing i just yelled so loud that possibly everyone in the store was looking directly at me, i blush and head towards where jade was.
"smooth move, hemmings," she spats, rolling her eyes. how in the name of all things holy was it possible that even when she's mad at me, i still think she's beautiful? dumb feelings, man.
we grab our things plus more and pay, the drive back towards my place, that i share with the boys, is filled with blink-182 songs. bringing back the sweet memory of jade and i dancing around the living room, good times.
when we finally make it inside, we find the boys all laying on the wooden paneled floor, all looking at calum's phone.
"hey guys," jade says, smiling at our friends, handing off her bag of goodies to me. "what're y'all looking at?"
getting up from his spot next to michael, ashton shows us a tweet, causing both our mouths to drop in disbelief.
